Nope. Unless Pozzo pops round to Dyche's house with a bulldozer, smashes a few rooms up, takes his wife, his favourite car (on a finance technicality) and his dogs, doesn't even thank Dyche for his trouble and plays knock-up ginger at his door for the next year, then the situations are pretty different.

They are pumping millions into the club and saving us from liquidation, if they want to appoint their own man then fair enough

Also, we all think Dyche is the better option now but maybe, just maybe, the guys who took both Udinese and Granada rapidly up their respective leagues know a thing or two that we dont

That's one thing that probably won't change with having the Pozzos in charge.

I don't think many people are complaining at all mate. There are only a few who are, and they are the minority clearly.

Well I've seen plently of comments over several threads today of people genuinely complaining about the Pozzo's already and it's ridiculous.

Some of the fans of this club are complete jokes that need to learn to shut up and realise that maybe our new owners know a lot better than we do, seens as they've been successfully doing this for about 30 years.

Well however many people are complaining over it, it's a thoroughly silly point of view, but there you go. You can never please everyone, no matter what you do.

feel sorry for Dyche and very greatful for the job he did last season (as well as all the others)

Of course it's only natural for our new italian owners to appoint an italian speaking manager.
A well known italian figure such as Zola will be a more attractive prospect to play under for any loanees coming in from italy.

a combination of the 2 would never work as whoever wasn't in charge would have the other waiting in the wings.

I will get behind the manager 100% (who ever it is)... the future is really bright, shame there's so much negativity on this thread.

I think it is less negativity than a genuine and very creditable reluctance to see Dyche treated badly.

I share that feeling but he won't do too badly. If he has a rolling one year contract then, if I understand correctly, he'll get one years wages as compensation. Then he'll be in an almost unique situation - a manager looking for a job, almost universally well regarded by everybody connected with his previous club and his peers. Won't be unemployed long.

Disappointed that SD has been given the elbow but if that is what pozzo wants then its his call. I guess we've got to get behind Zola and it will be interesting to se how it goes.

at last , log onto a thread and it isnt full of whining little turds like JB slitting his wrists and being `disgusted`

this is 2012 , Dyche is a big hairy arsed geezer with plenty of opportunities to come , and a years pay off to boot all being well , he probably understands this better than anyone on here and is most likely fielding calls from clubs as we speak

the club aint going under , thats ALL that matters at this point in time, plus , rich , very rich , and very succesfull Italians witha football culture have just looked at what we have , a three sided ground and massive london clubs all around and thought they saw something , you cannot complain at that

well some can , but then it`ll be the same old boring faces

Good post. Dyche has done well, he is a good man and he will have a good career I'm sure - but it looks as though it won't be with us. That's football.

Sad to see Dyche go i was a big fan of him and the fantastic job he has done. We need to remember that when zola is confirmed as the new manager he will need the full support of all watford fans. Its not his fault dyche got the sack. Might i say as well that for the pozzo's to buy a club like ours and have the balls to sack a popular manager as one of their first bits of business shows that they have a certain model and vision they will not be swayed from. Its an exciting time lets embrace it and see how things go before we all start moaning

Wasn't a big Sean Dyche fan as I thought his football philosophy was one-dimensional and bland, however he did well despite the turmoil at the club and steadied the ship somewhat, however I don't believe he could take us forward.

The Pozzos have the right to pick their manager. If you don't like it, stump up the cash, buy the club and re-instate Dyche....simple.

This c*nt can f**k off as well. What's he ever done for the club?

He's part of the past now and means nothing to the new Pozzo Watford-Udinese-Granada FC.

Listening to the interview, isn't it fair to say Blissett was mostly positive about the takeover?

Who cares what Blissett thinks? He is just an ex-player, his opinion is completely irrelevant. In fact, he is also a **** for some reason too.

Cant believe sean dyche got the sack after what he done for the club last season !!

This no mark can do one as well.

I don't even remember him. Apparently he played for us at some point in the last few years?

If it was Joe Garner saying it I might be inclined to listen but this guy doesn't even play for the club anymore!

Responsiblity is the key word. You can`t dividing it between 2 managers - someone training the attack, the other - the defenders. It`s quite normal for the new owners to come with Zola in their luggage...

I was just having a look at the Bristol City fans site..lots of stuff about Dyche as an ex player for them.

But some interesting opinions too about our takeover. Here are a selection of positive ones, so you can see how fans of other clubs are viewing us now (once they've stopped attacking us over the SD sacking)....

All bad news for City, unless we realise more investment has to be made just to stand still, but another club now likely to compete and make the league more exciting.

Where this could seriously benefit Watford is the the deals they may do for up and coming Udinese players on the cheap.

As far as I understood it, Watford would be used to farm out udinese young talent to get game time. I fully expect them to get some good young players on one or two season loans which will cost them 0. Udinese picking up all the costs. This ffp could be perfect for this type of setup.

How well it works is another thing entirely, but it seems pretty obvious why they wanted an Italian in charge to ensure the young loanees are played, coached and treated well.

The have bought the club, they have a very good football model that has worked for all the clubs they have bought. They didn't appoint the guy. They want someone in place that will work to the model they have set up for the other clubs they own. I can't see the problem.

Bloody hell haven't we released him yet?

Actually on a serious note,Zola will be Doyley's umpteenth manager and every one of them has seemed to leave him out at first, then we get an injury or loss of form and Lloyd gets his place back and seems to hold on to it,whats gonna happen this time?
