Who Caught NXT?

Sasha vs Bailey was one of the best matches I've seen all year regardless Men/women NXT/WWE/TNA.

 

going to try and watch it tonight.

 

skimmed through it. best match by far was the fatal four way for the tag team titles. lesnar and undertaker was ok, did not like the ending though.

 

I'm fast losing interest and hope at this point. Everything about the product stinks of complacency, mismanagement and a complete lack of effort and whilst that's been true for years, it's only getting worse and worse.

The fact that even for Summerslam they couldn't be bothered to build even a slightly unique set and simply used the Raw one just says it all about the way the company is run these days. What happened to the days when they actually gave a f**k about presentation and wowing the audience with something unique?

The ending to the Undertaker/Lesnar match was classic, laughable, cop-out WWE booking.

 

Taker Lesnar was ruined by that ending. Sine when does taker need to low blow?

Cesaro Owens was excellent. As was the tag and Divas matches. Wonder why Shamus didn't cash in. Putting both titles on Rollins is a mistake. We'll see wgat happens tomorrow.

 

I actually thought summerslam was fantastic, I seem to be the one to defend the product a lot against some of you guys .

It really depends on how you 'watch' the programme, dont get me wrong im by no means a casual fan, but I understand 'direction' and where a story needs to go. If you're watching it fuming that the likes of Owens come through and dont win the title straight away, then I cant really hold a conversation with you on WWE (thats not an indirect comment to anyone)

Absolutely loved Rollins v Cena;Rollins New attire; always adding new moves to his moveset, loved the nod to Guerrero, A solid Cena performance we have come to expect in the last few months. Finish was fine , and I love that Rollins has both titles, massive show of faith in him (although I dont think hell hold them for too long)

Taker V Lesnar was great, a great story told in that match, all emotions showed, even quite comedic in places. Taker didnt need to low blow but taker neededto win the match, there is the story, by any means necessary. The finish insures Lesnar is protected.

Great PPV y'all need to chill

In by Opinion Bubba (Bully Ray in TNA) has been one of the best heels in the business recently. Devon I can take or leave. Certainly they can both still go and far better than say the assention who I had high hopes for but were ruined when called up. The assention need repackaging as Takers ministry II.

Just call up Enzo & Cass already. They were getting chants at Summerslam for heavens sake.

 

I get more excited for the Raw after a big ppv then the ppv most times.

 

I didn't have a problem with summerslam, just the taker ending but as you guys have said it kinda makes sense. I did like the comedy banter factor during the match.

raw was pretty good, lesnar taking bo to suplex city a highlight, apart from the brilliant return of one of the greatest tag teams ever. I know it can never happen but I would only have marked out more to DX/edge and Christian or the hardys.

 

Been Watching 'Mania X7 since about 9pm.

Don't see why Sting has been given a title shot and not at all enthusiastic about Lesnar v Taker III

 

I would have actually preferred if it was Kane in Sting's place, providing he finally returns as the proper Kane looking something like this:



No more corporate Kane crap and no more sh*tty 2011 masked Kane attire. The real Kane for one last run to try and somewhat restore his depressingly damaged legacy.

 

I'd agree with you. Monster Kane is still one of my favourites.
However he's been quoted as saying he's only there to put over new talent now. He's had his spot in the limelight and happy to continue whilst he remains injury free.

He's got a lot of interests outside of wrestling and I wouldn't be surprised if you see him go into politics at some point but I think monster Kane is done. If HHH & Stephanie can suck their egos up he'd make a bloody good GM and occasional wrestler.

I would however Like to see a final Brothers of Destruction match, maybe against the Dudleys?

for what its worth I also quite like the new day stable at the moment. seem to have a good rapport with the crowd.

 

I thought Kane may have come back as the monster during summer slam. To save undertaker, then in turn Sting would join Brock. But oh well, I'll just have to deal with more tables.

Why is sting a comedy character now... Though I was a fan of a tease of sting in a sting mask.

 

I'm guessing they are still angling sting at rollins right? its hard to take any rollins storyline particularly seriously though.

 

He's played the split personality a lot in TNA. Switching from Joker sting to Crow sting and back again. It actually works quite well. I thought the statue segment was brilliant. Mind games to upset Rollins who I admit is growing on me. It's almost getting back to the good old days of limos blowing up and trashing rivals cars.

 

it was a cool segment I agree. rollins is growing on me too. makes a good heel, cannot see him as a face.

 

Loved him either since the shield turn, PWI have placed him at #1 this year and its completely warranted. He plays the type of heel that has not been seen for a long time, and his delivery is excellent, the 'i'd like to thank' promo was hilarious, so conceited; so arrogant and has the wrestling skill to perform. no move is out of his range. It will be interesting to see him as a face, I think we can all see that rollins v hhh is in the pipeline (id be very surprised if it wasnt), looking forward to seeing his progress.

 

i am enjoying the Bi-polar Kane angle. Rollins needed a placeholder before Brock again, and this isn't worst thing they could be doing. The worst thing is the never ending feud between Ziggler and Rusev
