I am assuming that Luton Town will not go to the wall (thankfully) and that their best players will be sold. All things considered this will still leave the club in a precarious position in League One will relegation a serious threat. I've made no secret in the past that I enjoy the rivalry between our two clubs (banter YES ... violence NO) and in many ways to see them so far below us in terms of leagues would make local derbies a thing of the past. What I would propose is for us to loan 2/3 even 4 players (who have no chance of making the bench at the Vic) to Luton with them only having to find the wages. Our players gain valuable experience and it gives them a helping hand. from pst experience i know that this will go against the grain for many but at the end of the day .... It's ONLY a GAME !!!!

Sorry to say that if they went bust and the ground ended up as a supermarket car park I wouldn't shed a tear and would say good riddance to em. We've always got MK Dongs to hate now.
Yes I would help them personally as if one club goes bust it breaks that air of invincibility football clubs have in a business/liquidation sense....as in lots have been in deep trouble but have always pulled out. That would mean that many others could go the same way in the coming years which will be very sad for football as a whole.
My apologies dear boy if my stance offends you, however, i cut my teeth in a previous era when the rivalry was a great deal more intense and physical than it is these days and I'm afraid old habits die hard. Never mind you can gain some consolation from the fact that us aged dinosaurs are dying out. It is just a Luton thing as I've given donations to a number of other clubs that have struggled over the years, but help scum no I'm afraid not.
B0llocks. Two different eras you are talking about there. You take a stroll back in time 30 years and Watford & Scummers would have been ripping each others throat out. Just because it doesn't happen nowadays doesn't mean it never did. Anyone who was involved back then probably thinks very similarly.
My hatred of the scum is feirce and the people that know me on here can vouch for that. Which is precisely my point, if that rivalry was taken away I would be gutted! Unlike some on here, I dont belive we can just 'chose' another local team to hate!
Valid point and any replacement would never carry the same in built hatred that the scum generate.MK Dongs really aren't worth caring that much about anyway.
