It was a tongue-in-cheek poll with a serious argument behind it.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2006/sep/09/newsstory.sport9 more from the invented rhetoric. You are the Watford equivalent of this.

I'm looking for the 'Dear Marge' thread.

    Is this it?

It's the pinnacle of football fans being stupid.

I look forward to returning to the Gino Out! threads in a couple of years time.

Admins removed it. Didn't realise Berko had electricity after 11pm

I'm not entirely convinced by this that you know what Berko is...

It's a small derelict village. It could do with some genius Italian businessmen arriving to regenerate the place and bring it into the 21st century, however I doubt that would please you Chumlax.

This club now exists as nothing more than an investment vehicle for venture capitalists - no matter how many photos of players with yellow heart emojis posted on social media and comments from @watfordlad25 saying "love this club" can hide the true nature of what this and many other clubs have become.

I blame low interest rates for many things. Broken capitalism, (even more) irrational housing market, populism.

    Now the death of football.

I imagine we would have been relegated with a points deduction, would have rebuilt the club using youth players and might be in League One still or lower half of the Championship side. We’d probably have lost a couple of times to Luton.

I doubt we’d barely remember what the Premier League felt like, and would absolutely love to be a part of it.

Instead we got half a decade in the Premier League and have a decent shot at promotion.

Overall, is the club in a better position now than it would have been? Undoubtedly.

Would we have been more happy if we toppled into League 1? Probably.

We’re the lottery ticket winner that realised that money/ success buys no happiness because expectations change and we’ve been introduced to billionaires with whom we can never compete.

We’ve seen who Oz is, and it’s a few, old men who care about nothing, except giving themselves and their mates the biggest piece of pie.
