With the rain and the mud will this affect the opposition more than us this season. Will we benefit from carp pitches?

Are we actually more difficult to beat at home because of our bumpy pitch or are we just better at defending at home?

I think a bit of both. Our defence has been solid as of late but our direct style has got to help us play on carp pitches. Teams will struggle to pass it around on our pitch.

I actually don't think the Vic is too bad at the moment. certainly no worse than Stamford Bridge was.

True. The rugby certainly doesnt help it though. I probably helps us that we dont play much football on the turf!

I hadn't thought of that. So there advantages to being aerial.

There certainly are. its a pity it wont be so effective away from home. I do think we have a chance against arsenal if the pitch is so bad because they wont be able to play there normal passing game as easily.

Not because of the pitch but I seriously think that we will turn Arsenal over.

They will be complacent and Aidy knows he screwed things up at their place.

I have had some decent gambling wins this season and this is set to be my next big one. If the bookies make us any bigger than 7/2 just pile in.

I may just do the same. I do think the pitch will help us and they will find it difficult to play. Lets hope aidy gets it right this time around!
