Because of my high refractive index and dispersion.
Wanted to show my love for Zola. That turned out great.
I was caught having a poo behind the "D" in the Hollywood sign in July 2003 by the LAPD whilst I was attending the American society for law enforcement training, or ASLET, in Ontario, just outside of LA.
I was let off after I told them why I was in LA.
I knew someone who claimed he peed on the Wailing Wall. Not sure I believed him either.
Why the hell would I make that up ?
Because I drive a taxi and occasionally shoot nonces
When I was a kid I used to say my puppy labrador starred in the Andrex adverts. Who knows.
Because I am
Because my names Dave and I was born in 74
I've always respected everything you wrote because I thought you were head of a Mafia family. Feel a bit silly now
Are you sure it's not Rodney
I am a small monotreme with an unrivalled list of connections and sources.
First thing that came into my head when I registered on the fishal forums during my first spate of unemployment. That was a while ago.
Danthek is my Xbox Live gamertag, so I used it here. First names Dan, surname is Kirby. The 'the' is purely unnecessary.
I never really broke down your username, so I just read it Legs-a-Sketch. My bad.
For me, I use Powerjugs as a username on most games I play. So I may as well stick with it.
I originally joined the forum when it started as Keith Eddy's Ghost, then forgot, then had an attack of unoriginality when i signed up again.
Being an 'old timer', misery and member of the 'old gits' brigade I wanted a name with gold in it!
Anyone remember this old Rookery ditty
Everyhwere we go,
People wanna know,
Who the 'ell we are,
So we gotta tell 'em,
We are the Watford,
We play in black and gold,
And if you wana argue,
Come and 'ave a gooooo!
At the time I signed up one of my offspring was heavily into the James Bond films and the only thing that kept popping into my mind was Gold Finger, so there you have it. :]]
I assumed you use an inferior quality bog roll.
Because I support Arsenal and live in Dagenham
When I used to be a nerd (16-17ish) I was going to make a website and call it 'Watford Warehouse'. I know. Literally sooo clever.
It's now caught on and most of my friends now call me Warehouse.
I guess I fall in to the obvious catergory.....:doom:
Someone typed a ? On the Teleprompter
Roger "Call me Harry" Willis, a footballer in my (and many other onlookers) opinion that had rather limited ability to play for Watford (heralded as a magic WFC line up of Willis Furlong and Charlery - 1 out of 3 succeeded). Game in question - Barry Fry had signed Willis back for Birmingham, we were murdering Birmingham at home, Furlong on top form - Bruce Dyer also tearing them apart. We were leading by about 4 when Willis emerged from the bench to mock acclaim and cheers from the Orns who were punch-drunk with winning a game comfortably.
Few minutes later, Willis crossed for Brimingham to score, followed by passionate chants of Willis for England. Not the funniest thing I've ever heard at football, but was part of a rare good day in those times.... good posts are rare from me so seemed appropriate.
One of my first heroes. How could such a short bloke play in goal? I played in goal at primary school so while the other kids were Law, Best , Charlton etc I was Bert "the flying Scotsman" Slater.
I think I might take that title
Are you doing armpit farts in your profile picture?
Did we end up winning something like 5-2 that game and Brum had 2 sent off? In fact, I think one of them was the **** Steve Clarrage.
Furlong hat-trick but Brucey absolutely destroyed them that day.
Is that IYHO?
Never understood why anyone would have the name of a current player or manager in a user name.. or on the back of a replica shirt for that matter. The vast majority of them are transient these days.. and soon enough their names will be meaningless.
Past players or managers that have achived something i understand.. and the odd current one who's earned it (Only Doyley at present)
Isn't there someone registered as 'watford'? Quite recent, too.
Luton supporting friends (I know...) back at school decided to call me scummybear as a wind up. It was probably their most innovative moment, so I adopted it...
