In amongst the bickering on other threads this is such a great thread. I joined during the Pozzo takeover as it seemed the best place to get info. Used to post on the WO site but haven't done for ages. Never knowingly talked to anybody from the forum although a few sit near me in Lower GT on the half way line. @PowerJugs might be one. I'm sure there a some who drink in West Herts Cricket club (Cassio Road) as well who I've spoken to as well.

 

Are you even part of the forum if you haven't had an argument with Chewitt on here?

I sit there so that's certainly possible. PotGuy was there til just before the takeover then moved to Australia then Sweden

 

County Durham is a lovely place (Darlo and Billingham aside) which I sometimes went through when I lived up north. Life might take me there permanently depending on my choices

Without giving anything confidential away, any contact with Rookerydad @nornironhorn ? He just suddenly dropped from probably 20 posts a day to zilch overnight.

 

...and @oxhey67 who sent out some worrying posts and messages from his twitter account and then disappeared. Think there's a link to @The Recluse but not sure if the same person. Would be good to know Oxhey67 is ok.

I do know Oxhey67 and he's okay. Not great but better than when he stopped posting. I know he wrote some personal things here but I don't think it's for me to post any delicate information. He's finding ways to live with himself though and it's an ongoing thing. I'll leave it at that.

Glad he's ok and thanks for letting us know. Always thought he was a decent poster and came across as a good bloke. Hope he keeps progressing even if it is slow improvement.
