West Ham make an approach for out-of-favour Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips - and are thought to be willing to pay £10m.

He IS a quality player, however lack of first team games has made him needing a move. Even if he'd gone to a team such as arsenal, tottenham, bolton etc, hed be a first team regular. Shame he has not made an impact, as he would be quality for England. The Icelandic guy has money to spend to show that he is awilling chairman :)

He'd be a great signing for west ham. I'd be suprised if they were the only prem club that would try and get him though.

    But

Will Chlsea want to sell him? A loan spell to us, ( I reckon that is what Aidy was talking to Josie about after we got mullered 4-0).

In exchange Chelsea could have first option on Ashley if we were too sell him.

SWP is not worth 10 million IMO, but would be very good for us from Jan til end of season loan spell.
