High Fidelity - a good film made great by Cusack pulling the midlife crisis of man.

  10. Who was also excellent as the evil baddie in The Frozen Ground - one of the very few films in which N Cage is decent.

Mel Gibson's version of Life of Brian was nowhere near as funny as the original.

I thought WH pitch size was 105*68 metres - exactly the same as the Vic.

Don’t all modern pitches in the PL have to be the same size as Wembley? Swear I read that somewhere. Where the ground will allow it obviously. 105x68 or something.

Maybe so, but the pitch looks a bit uneven to me

All those cheesy, soft core early 70s efforts ‘starring’ Joan Collins, Diana Dors et al (or eat all, as autocorrect drily suggested). The Sex Lives of the Potatomen. Anything influenced by or featuring Ricky Gervais. Anything with N Cage or Cillian Murphy: both so ugly I can’t concentrate on the rest of the film. And Michael Caine for convincing half the world he’s an acting genius, when he’s ruined innumerable perfectly decent movies with his Speak Your Weight machine routine.

Tommy Wiseau's The Room will be reminiscent of West Ham's defenders on Saturday.

I once got persuaded to watch Moulin Rouge at the cinema with a girl I was courting. Utter ***** - and turned out she wasn't worth the effort:eek:.

Predicting a much tougher game than it now appears to be. We are Watford, so it would be typical to stuff the champions and then stink the place out a few days later. If Liverpool can beat City and then lose to Swansea, we can easily get beat here.

1-1 or 2-2. As long as we don't lose.

Very confident for this one. They’ll be unable to contain both Richarlison and Deleofeu.

0-3 to the Horns and this board starts spaffing off about a top seven finish.

Let's hope that over the course of Saturday afternoon, what we discover is that Gracia's ultimate achievement is to remove the typical Watford-ness of Watford, and we play as well as we did on Monday; every player putting in maximum effort and performing the role they are designated perfectly. As a result, we emerge with another 3 points, and the relegation battling group starts to get narrower.

I don't think many are worried at this point anyway, and we'd only require 3 wins, or 2 wins and 3 draws, from the rest of the season to be pretty much absolutely assured of staying up, but if we are on 33 on Saturday evening, haven beaten a 'rival', no one will mention it again and we can look at what we can achieve over the rest of the season. A highest-ever finish is nowhere near out of the equation, and that wouldn't even be top half. The prospect of injured stars coming back into the team that played on Monday night is an exciting one.

Wow is this a presentation in media arts or a match thread? :p

My fave film of all times is the Breakfast Club with my absolute worst being Batman and Robin.

Onto the game should be decent as Wet Spam are in a rut that Moyes seems clueless to escape from. We scored 4 here last season and beat them fairly comfortably at home with the aid of two wonder saves.

Same attitude and team can Chelsea Flower Show would do me, and really I can’t see us losing. At worst a draw which will keep our mini revival going and another point towards survival.

I was an early responder! I said 'The Room', although obviously its idiosyncracies make it entertaining to watch. My friends and I used to watch it regularly, although I haven't seen The Disaster Artist yet.

My classic answer for 'favourite film' is Gladiator, because I've watched it over 30 times and I studied Classics/Ancient History, but a more recent film is sneaking up very close and worthy of mention and that's 'Calvary'.
