WALK the league? Really? Is their squad that much better than ours, Wigan's, Forest's, Reading's? Barely scraped past a poor Bolton.
Didn't think too much of QPR to be honest, good build up to the goal but most attacks were simply crosses smashed into the mixer in hope in typical championship style. Found myself wondering is that all they have?! Bolton poor.
QPR look poor, my point is they shouldn't with those players. WALK may be a exaggeration, but they have the strongest Players and depth in my opinion, albeit a few at the wrong end of their career.
I was not that impressed with QPR today but it would be silly to write them off because I seen them play poorly in one game which they still managed to grind out a win. They clearly have a strong squad and could be up there this season. Bolton looked like they had no creativity in the team but once Eagles ans others get back to fitness I expect that they will be challenging fi a top 6 spot.
The squad QPR have they should be winning the league, no question. They have proven championship goalscorers, as well as a first eleven filled with premier league experience. There are other squads who could challenge them, such as ours, forests etc, but the only thingnthat will stop QPR winning the league is themselves, in my opinion. Too big headed and over confident, lazy players at times and this could, and probably will cost them promotion this year.
We were saying that about Cardiff and Hull last season. Look capable of grinding out the 1 nil's and more importantly they don't seem to have had a hangover from last season unlike last season's relegated sides.
Watching Soccer Saturday, Bianca 'Face for radio' Westwood is reporting on Lestah - Brum....Lestah...the mahussive club... have sold out again...
I think that tomorrow we might find out if we're actually any good or not. My money's on "actually any good".
We still have the best goal difference in the division despite playing a game less. Oddly enough Forest have the second best.
I reckon we're starting to see some form emerging now. Some of the things I've noticed:- More Rubbish Than Expected Charlton Reading Bolton Wigan Sheff Wed Bournemouth (?) Middlesboro Barnsley Rubbish As Expected Yeovil Blackburn Millwall Better Than Expected Doncaster QPR (? - could still disintegrate) Forest Blackpool Burnley (?) Good As Expected Us Leicester Verdict Undecided Ipswich Huddersfield Birmingham Brighton Leeds
We're on the slide. I can't even remember the last time we kept a clean sheet and our last win is a distant memory.
