I've got to get a webcam for my son for school & music lessons (starting next week). I don't what to do this (because he's vulnerable* because of ASD, GDD, MLD, blah, blah, blah, etc.) but I've been told I have to. Any recommendations from the WFCforums massif - I'm looking for bang for buck? I'm more worried about this than adding the software - at least that's just "MS teams"... Thanking you in advance. *It's also because some of his schoolmates are extremely vulnerable and have had horrific things done to them which they class as 'normal' acceptable behaviour...
Bang for buck then if you've got an old Android phone & use a PC, droidcam for free. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dev47apps.droidcam That way it only works as a webcam when connected to a computer and both host and driver software are running. I'm using it successfully with Zoom. My old webcam was rubbish and looking about prices have rockets and availability is rubbish given the present circumstances.
