It's a never ending circle. After Saturday it was full of Watford fans trying to tell the world how much better Pedro is than Garner, coupled with lots of United fans disagreeing and calling Watford fans obsessed which then prompted Watford fans to counter the obsessed accusation and add in a shed load of meaningless stats to try and back their point. Twitter can be useful but it can encourage some very strange individuals to create arguments out of nothing.

Watford morons on Twitter hit a new low last night, Deeney wished the academy team well in their cup game and then had people questioning why he hadn’t wished the first team good luck as well.

Social media seems to be a bit too much for some people to handle.

 

Yes, I noticed this. For the most part I tend to take a watching brief on Twitter. Some of the Watford timeline is nauseating.

Rather confusingly the club has now released "local man is pleased" t shirts which are a very deliberate reference to this whole day and incident!

 

Can someone explain the local man is pleased thing? Is that the name of the emoji that Lerma posted? I'm getting old.

Tbf after seeing this I suppose the T-Shirt is more a reference to the club than Lerma so fine - but we seem to have idiots still abusing him in the replies to the shirt.

 

Na nothing racist although saw a couple which seem to have been deleted calling him a **** etc.

 

One of the most tedious things about the internet is when football fans take the piss out of something, the other club respond and then the first club's fans respond with something like 'we live in their heads rent free' it happens with every single club and it's sooooooo boring.
