Peeing down here for a long time in Camden. I looked at weather forecast for Watford and said HEAVY RAIN.

Any one who lives or works in Watford, could they kindly keep us posted on the weather conditions. Can see this being called off tonight if the rain continues.:(

Paddy, here in Hemel it's even to wet for the ducks.
Pitch had rugby played on Sunday and all this rain I'm not holding out much hope for tonight.

I read in the free newspaperpaper in London this morning that little Tornado's are expected today. Is Macca playing tonight?

If the game is on it's going to be a heavy pitch. Sheff played on Saturday - so hopefully we can have an advantage on fitness.

Absolutely hammered it down overnight in Surrey, but it is now starting to clear up, and has stopped.

stopped raining now in henley, should be dry now for rest of day, time for pitch to drain but it'll be a bog tonight.

Rain stopped in Hayes at about 8'15 thats about 15 miles from Watford so hopefully a good sign.

Does no one remember the Real Zaragoza friendly three summers ago? It had been hot for the days and then absolutely belted it down for the 4hrs before the match. I've never seen anything like it and with it being a friendly and the ground being so hard I was sure the match would be off. Yet it went ahead. WFC have very good drainage on the new pitch, I can't remember a match being called off for waterlogged pitch over the past decade of me going. Add in the Sky TV factor and I guarantee they'll give it a shot. Never fear folks....

UEA, don't you remember Burnley at home in 2000/01?? Pelted down all morning/lunch time before the game, never seen anything like it! Walking through town to the ground was horrible and by the time we reached the ground we were soaked through! Game was called off at 14:45 or something!

The worst bit will be the right flank by the Rous going towards the Rookery.

Not helped by the egg chasers playing 2 days ago.

I would imagine if there is any doubt they will announce something early afternoon.

And to think we are still on a hosepipe ban down here.

The thing is Sky react badly to their live matches being postponed. And Watford would obviously miss out on the tv money if it happens, so expect all the stops to be pulled out to get the game on. If there's any doubt I'd expect the WFC Official Website to put up a statement by Thursday warning us....

I'll be more annoyed Iwasted time and petrol money going to Watford for nothing, plus I'll have to wait longer to see three points again!!!;)

i think i'll cry if it gets cancelled. its like a rollercoaster. wasnt going, so i was sad and prepared myself for a lonely night in the pub, then PYA was my fairy bear-father and said I could go, so i got all excited and i barely slept. now my hopes may be dashed again :(

I'd just be gutted, i'm missing live football and it will be nearly a 4 hour round trip for nothing, can't even get drunk as car will be left at train station:(
