Ok what are your predicitons?

With us needing a result I'm still going for a Home win I'm afraid but don't think it'll be a goalfest.

 

Im with you, though we will have to be on our guard, after going out of the cup on tuesday night in such an embarrasin fashion they will surely be looking to take out their frustrations on someone.
As far as a goalfest goes, i think that we will be more than happy to get a goa, let alone a feast of them!!!

 

You could be right, may be a game for 4 5 1 and try hitting them on the break

 

i would be tempted by the same formation he adopted on tuesday night a 4-4-1-1 with smith supportin king up front as sole striker.

 

Not convined with Smith at the mo. Think the next one is gonna be a crunch game and Smith really needs a couple of easier runs out to build himself some confidence.

going on what i saw of their game during the week we have a real chance to take points this weekend... i would stick my neck out and say 3 but it wont be easy.. they are going to be all out to prove a point after losing the other night... but we should be able to see where there weaknesses are and hopefully young will be able to exploit that... they had a few holes in the defence which could help the likes of king and smith, i am confident that smith will know how to hit them with darting runs as he used to do so long as he can rekindle his old game.

 

if we take our chances it will be a comfortable win - but it is Watford so i will expect 90mins of nail biting

 

I can see Wigan getting 1 goal at most, so it's a simple matter of whether we can score, and if so how many. I'm sure we're due a goal at least, and some of the players, (Hendo), are definately due 1. I can also see Smith scoring so 3-1 the boys.

 

I am not holding my breath for henderson to score, but smith and king are likely.. maybe even a piece of free kick quality from young!

Hasn't he sent Watford players off multiple times? At one point I thought we had requested he didn't ref us.

 

Didnt he send off 3 players in one game last season? and 8 yellows in the smae game?
And yes, i think he does has a problem with us, we seem to acrue more cards when he is in charge of our games than any other refs
