Trust nobody people, absolutely nobody, thats all I'm saying.
Anyone looking around at the world and its history and are saying nothing to see here are either one of them or blind. Trust no one.
Can we get back to Watford v Leicester on FM? I missed the match and need a detailed report from Skyla.
IBB's opinion on the best British sitcom about 911 can wait!
To be fair, no one's saying 'nothing to see here'. It's you saying 'no evidence to see here' to support your debunked theories.
Never a sending off IMO. VAR not even consulted. Michael Oliver showing the usual big club bias.
It's a conspiracy. Cyaninternetdog is right.
I would love to oblige, but the copy of Football Manager that the club used belonged to Peyera. He was not letting anyone else have a go on the game. When asked, he threw the keyboard down and sat in the corner with Holebas and sulked.
this is what will happen
They need to play the remaining games behind closed doors and stream all for free. Anything else will cause all sorts of legal issues for years to come.
They should also go back to past games and record the crowd and play it over the loudspeakers.
Dont we have form for doing this in the 90's or early 2000's to generate an atmosphere?
What kind of legal issues? Ones for the leagues maybe with TV companies but I doubt individual teams have a case for anything.
Yes, I think it was under Petchey's reign.
Yes, and it was horrible. Drowned out genuine atmosphere from supporters.
Perfectly in tune with the rest of the Petchey era, though.
Some conspiracies are true. For sure.
As per the other thread
Force Majeure. Split it evenly. Again teams will feel aggrieved but I honestly think teams will be forced to understand this is a public health issue. The season won’t have been voided to punish anyone so every team is in the same position.
What genuine atmosphere?
There were about twenty people under the scoreboard who sang and chanted in those days. Hence the ridiculous, and highly embarrassing measure of playing taped crowd noise on the tannoy. Even when we scored a goal, the majority of the crowd barely moved. Away fans used to think our goals had been disallowed because of the total lack of reaction from our stupefied fans.
Waiting for VAR confirmation m8. Ahead of our time.
Being slightly pedantic, given the membership arrangements the leagues are the clubs and the clubs are the leagues. Any loss of revenue for the league soon affects the clubs in reduced prize money, academy funding, parachute payments etc.
Where’s all the postgame chat?
The Covid -19 virus hasn’t also killed all enthusiasm for the ‘Orns surely?
We won 1-0 and Pedro made his debut.
No conspiracy - it was recorded as a From The Rookery End podcast - Fact.
Check it out, can’t be a conspiracy you can hear the crowd.
That’ll teach Rodgers.
So gutted about this that I’ve barely left the house since.
You’ve not missed anything.
Seems like more than four weeks have passed since we were looking forward to this doesn’t it?
Played behind closed doors. We lost 1-3. DEEEENNNNEY missed 2 pens and was sent off. With the absence of fans, the Leicester management team took it upon themselves to serenade Pearson with various tunes inc but not limited to "You're s*** and you know you are" "Going down, Going down etc" and "Watford, you'll never play us again, etc etc". Apparently Rogers did a mic-drop in front of the Watford bench. Utter scum.
We don't get penalties m8.
But at least he did it with integrity.
Longest match thread ever
If we had won it would have barely reached 100 comments. Everyone on here loves a drama.
With this due to now be a 19, 20 or 21 June fixture, what'll the score be? Or does all previous form from this interrupted season go out the window and it's to be treated as 'first day of the season' game?
I imagine it will be very similar to our first day of the season game v Brighton after the players **** around all mid-season-pre-season
Down we go, then!
Must win game.
This season we started very badly, but the previous two seasons we actually started quite, if not very, well. So lets hope it will be more like our previous two seasons rather than this season when we re-start, if that happens we might have a good chance of surviving
However, if we re-start this season the way we started it we could be in serious trouble
