Watford Fc Kit - Kelme

I do like to see a goalkeeper in green.

 

I hate taunton morrisons, would rather go to the bridgwater one all day long.

 

Resident, moved away from glorious Abbotts some 15+ years ago to take up cider drinking and ECB bashing.

 

Do I detect Giraldi's 'hand' in this? Rather than focus our fan recruitment and brand building on the 'far East' he's switched to the club's marketing efforts to the 'near West'? The man's a genius.

 

It's why we went down last Season. No other conceivable reason.

 

Yep. Went to see the Wurzels some 10 years back, and that song is often heard at the cricket ground and Taunton Town Fc. It’s better than Sandstorm by Darude for sure.

My goodness, you can just feel the time, effort and bespokeness that Kelme have taken to create this kit that looks absolutely nothing like a template or sort of thing you'd pick up at Sports Direct for £10.

What a partnership.

 

Are those the EFL numbers on the back? They don't even look like actual numbers...

Looks like a training top

Was encouraged by the wacky home kit, shame to see them reverting back to something plain and boring for the away kit

 

It’s tidy but a bit boring. Neither of which can be said about the home kit which has grown on me a little bit since the leak.

The GK kits are both nice to be fair, and the training gear looks more creative than some of the Adidas stuff.

Would be intrigued to know what people make of the quality once a few more are knocking around. The quality was decent from Adidas, as you’d expect, even if it was all template based.

 

I'm happy that our home kit at least is something truly bespoke. However, I just can't get over that god awful paw print on the kit.

Our mint green training top is actually quite nice, but lo and behold look at the back and there's a massive paw print again. Shame.

True, so it seems ridiculous there's a third kit coming too.

 

Probably not as they wear orange and navy. More likely to wear the white, or perhaps the third kit which I gather is black.

 

The blue keeper's top is very nice. I was thinking it'd be the same as the green but in a bright blue.

 

I think it’s okay - simple and plain.

 

Yeah, for me it could've done with just a little more black and red trim, maybe around the collar, shoulders or the sides. Something subtle and keeping the main body as white, but making it a bit less like a training shirt.

 

Ha ha. We never had a third kit in the Premier League.

Let's not have one for 5 seasons v the likes of Man U and Liverpool and then bring one out for Rotherham and Wycombe. Those Marketing boys and girls are as sharp as ever.

 

Jeez, I feel old now - they've not had a white home kit in over a decade. Shows how much attention I pay to them!

 

Why is it like a training shirt? Because it’s plain? That would make most international shirts training shirts. I watched Sevilla the other night and remarked how nice and simple their kit was - this looks like that.

 

I know under the present conditions we are advised you could loose your sense of smell and even taste but I didn’t know it involved sight as well. I could swear the new away shirt is all white. Could someone help me on this.........

 

It’s clean, I like it. Kelme have done a good job in my eyes.

A bold and eye-catching home kit is nice and being a bit more reserved on the away kit is fine by me.

 

True. Probably means we can expect to hardly ever wear the home kit away from home next season.

 

Yeah fair point. I guess now shirts are so pricey you expect there to be a bit more going on to differentiate it, but then on the other hand you don't get a classic look from a busy shirt.

 

I like the home & away kits, even the training gear is nice. Just a shame about the massive paw print on the back.

 

It would look better if it had more logos - ideally Chinese betting companies. We could squeeze a few more on, surely?

 

Everytime I see Kelme I read it as Kill me which is what I'd be saying if I had to wear that monstrosity.
