I can’t believe people were making this judgment without taking into account a well known lover of wingers known as QSF was trying to make him into a striker, playing with his back to goal.
Was pretty certain it was off his gloves and watching again in slow motion freeze frame it still looks that way to me. Might have come off boot as well before gloves or might have just bounced up onto gloves but the right hand is what gets it round the post.
