I knew we were winning that game the moment they lined up before the game and Villa had four players with floppy hair. You can carry one, maybe two floppy haired fancy dans in a team, but never four.

 

I'm sure Mr Pritchett will already of been warned about that.

 

It wasn't even the best individual performance in that match. Foster again reigns supreme.

One save? Foster has been great for a while now but can’t be man of the match against Villa. Of course a lot on this forum wanted home gone after a dip in form, in fact 75% of the first team was useless apparently.

of give Capoue MOTM, but Sarr was a close second.

 

Was constantly available, isolated his full back time after time and put in some good crosses.

Foster has been in great form and made one epic save yesterday.

However Sarr was simply brilliant yesterday, so much so that Targett got tired and feigned injury

Foster did make an even better save against Sheffield Utd as well, in fact how it didn’t go in I’ll never know. He only made one save yesterday, but what a save and that would’ve made it 1-0 them completely changing the shape of the game. He definitely wasn’t man of the match yesterday, but he’d be a strong contender if you averaged it across the last three games.

 

Twice in two games I slumped back having seen us let a goal in, only for a Foster to somehow save them! He has been so vital in the last few games.

 

I'm deeply in love with the pair of them in fairness. And capoue. And deeney. And deulofeu.

We are frigging ace.

 

The save v villa was the better of the two for me. Plus I've been reading about all the charity stuff he does. What a guy

There are lots of good responses from our fans. Mainly images from Troy celebrating!. I’m sure the poster has had a hard life but having your first post on Twitter asking for handouts, and then complaining of bullying when you call a fellow human being a sh%thouse in the original post doesn’t stand you in good ground,

 

I think he did react/ dive more for it in the AV game. But even the one against SU I initially said to my son, it just hit him. But then after. The replays you can see he does move to save it (and of course good positioning is also part of goalkeeping)

 

Not sure which game you watched. First half he didn't take his man on once. He cut back inside and passed it, didn't track back and looked lost.
Someone obviously had a word with him as he come out second half and ripped their RB a new one. Capoue was easily my Mom

From what I remember, he was our main threat first half.

He was getting on the end of long balls over the top from centre backs and cross field balls from Capoue. He brought them all down with an excellent touch every time.

Put in two or three good crosses I believe.

Watch again. Agree Capoue motm, but Sarr was a constant horn in their side.

 

I still haven’t healed from the first 25 minutes against Man City and I still want 75% of the participants gone to be fair.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic. If not, then I would be drop dead gorgeous in his eyes. I would go with the sarcasm route first though.
