Punching well above their weight and expertly drilled by a charismatic Portugese Manager, Manchester United visit Premiership behemoths Watford. A Tuesday 20:00 kickoff for the convenience of the 3 people that have subscribed to BT sport, should ensure that the travelling supporters easily get home before 22:00, most living close to the south east. Some suggest this is a free hit, but in my opinion this one is winnable, and I expect at least a point. Not sure if Deeny is available and not sure if he should start. Prodl for Britos a would be my only change if everyone is fit. Scenes of Manchester Famous Manchester United supporters Can't think of any others.
Points from the next two fixtures are not beyond us, but anything from one of the big six is a bonus. That’s the same view as most of the clubs in the EPL. We beat them last season, but seems like a lifetime ago now. Back in the time when people thought Mazarin was good. Make no mistake, United will see this as a difficult fixture and will be pleased take take something from the match themselves. I’m going for a draw or a narrow United win, but you never know. It could well be our day again. I think that’s covered all bases.
That's not Troy's fault. We would have won at Chelsea had he not been subbed with Watson, and I don't really need to remind anyone of the Arsenal game. I prefer him to Gray, who isn't a centre forward in my opinion.
Not looking forward to this one as we know United will shut up shop and try and grind out a 1-0 win, BORING! Hopefully we get at them from the off. Make sure to give Ashley Young some abuse, the judas snake.
Not sure who should start between Gray and Deeney. Both work their socks off and yet both can frustrate. But no one can argue against the fact that Troy has done much much more - more than any other Watford player under Silva - to really kickstart Arsenal’s season.
Silva actually beat United last season while in charge of Hull...a 1-0 win in the 2nd leg of the League Cup Semi Final! Could be a good time to meet United. Jones, their best defender this campaign, could well be missing. Lukaku is out of form (and could be in hot water too after a challenge on Saturday). Pogba might not be able to play the whole 90 minutes as they nurse him back into the team after injury. They didn't look especially good against Brighton and needed a lucky deflection to win the match.
Apparently Crooks didn't get the memo about us telling Everton to jog on, and he now reckons that Will Hughes should follow Silva out the door: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42131608 So not content with selling off our manager, he also wants any half decent player to leave as well. Classy.
It's nice to finally have a reasonably full strength squad to choose from. Can't remember the last time we played these without at least half our squad missing. We should win this on paper, but we struggled breaking down Stoke and this will be similar. Pereya must feature from the start if we are to unpick their packed defence, and watch out for the pace of Ibrohimovich on the counter.
Lukaku facing a possible ban... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ed-news-Lukaku-miss-Manchester-derby-ban.html
I rate our chances if Lukaku is banned. Otherwise I suspect they'll profit from a set piece. Should be a good match, I miss the Championship Tuesday nighters. Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk
Why? Except for 20 mins against Arsenal Troy has hardly pulled up any trees and his lack of pace doesn’t fit with how we play. I wouldn’t change anything
The red cafe is a bit split on this. 60% of them aren't confident of a win. 40% think they'll spank us like Citeh. They are a class above what we've played recently and they can really turn it on if they all turn up. Will be interesting to see if Mour sets them up to counter as we will struggle if they do. If they try to take us on then will be an interesting and entertaining game.
It will be interesting to see whether Marco has learnt his lesson from the Chelsea game, if we play like we did at Chelsea from the 20th ot 60th minute I think we genuinely have a very good chance of getting a result.
Who is this Mour? Is he better than Ben? Do you think Sil can outwit him? Didn't do so well against Pel. Is this place now The Sun?
So you want an unfit, immobile striker who can only score penalties in the team against Manure? I'm not denying he won't do well when he's fit...but get fit first and he won't be match sharp.
If Deeney starts it will be too easy for United. Need to stretch the defenders not hump balls up to the front like its 2015.
Tough game against a team that might slap us or might sit back and defend for a point. I would see this as a point being a good result to build on our recent haul, but we are more than capable of winning this if Silva learns of their weakness as he did vs Newcastle, and .makes subs at the right times. Deeney to do his magic again as a sub, and I would stick Okaka up front as he is physical
We get our first look at what Silva's views are about player rotation tomorrow, with our first midweek PL match under him.
Deeney should not start. However you might view Gray, personally I'm coming over to his side, empirically we don't win when Fatty starts but have won when the tattoed scummer who misses a lot does.
Yep, this I agree with 100%. As much as I despise gray and everything he stands for, he must start until we get someone better (gabbiadini)
