It would take one massive tug back to make him fall backwards when running at that speed.

When they responded how they did, the old bloke sensibly chose not to take things further so didn't need others to support him, that's all. Deafening silence from you about what you would have done of course. Probably cowered in the corner sobbing until the naughty boys had gone I imagine, like any contrary keyboard warrior **** in the real world.

Good performance, great result, and we still have a lot of improvements to make, and most of that will come from improved confidence if we continue to get good results.

We are seeing how an improved attitude can influence results, through forcing mistakes, improved luck and a bit more enterprise. It's looking good, and I think confidence will improve and that is the last piece of the jigsaw to see us moving up the table.

We are now seeing a few players improve with confidence already, like Sarr and Chalobah, and I just hope that, when Pedro is finally given a chance, the fans (including on here) do not expect him to perform wonders straight away.

So just to be clear, Kaba misses the cup final because of one dodgy VAR decision ?

My cousin came over from Italy to meet Vialli at the Open Day, we spoke to Galli and told him we were Juventinos, he laughed and replied 'Don't worry, my brother's an Interista and he's only just started to talking me again'

    Top man.

Check this out. Shakey completely owning & firmly swatting away the female reporters questions. I know I'm gushing a bit, but these two just get more impressive by the day.

That man was absolute quality, even in his old age stomping about in the championship in thick mud in the British winter. Regardless of his age it was still incredible he came to play for us, probably the only masterstroke that Vialli pulled.

No sure why he was tearful though, must be the Italian latin temperament, prone to fits of emotion, like the Spanish :D.

Did he play against us in either the 6-3 win when we went down in 96 or final game of the season when we clinched a play off spot under GT in 99?

Think Son had an appeal upheld the other week which was originally given by VAR so there is precident. I was surprised as the original decision yellow or red was subjective. VAR should have stayed out of it as nothing clearly missed by the ref at the match.

I had no idea that they were more than 10 - 12 yards outside the area when Kabs pulled his arm (see the 4th image from lowerrous above). From the back row of the Rookery I thought they were almost in the box. With Cathcart in close attendance, I can see why the ref decided on a yellow.

From West Ham KUMB Forum. Those neanderthals usually say it how it is & know what they're talking about. So who are we to disagree?

I think we can forget about Watford, they won't be near the bottom three in my opinion, lots of powerful athletes and a manager that knows how to organise, they should have beaten Liverpool at Anfield as well on this run.

I agree mate. Looking like the Watford of last season. No way they go down.

It seems they took a full 30 seconds to consider the appeal before rejecting it. They got as far as the WFC letterhead.

The HSBC cheque with the fee for the appeal bounced apparently. Odd.

The amazing thing about Galli in the Championship was how little he moved. He read the game so well he didnt really need to. Galli and Vega: Yin and Yang.

Surprised they didn't add an extra game for it to punish us for appealing at all.
Having said that, almost every pundit I have heard comment on it have said they all thought it should have been a red, as Jota would have been able to attempt to lob Foster before Cathcart could have got to him.
