Wait I think I had that one too.... Holebas noticed him in the crowd and offered him over the barrier but he refused so Holebas leapt over and started laying into him. The reason? He didn’t approve of sone of his exclusive fashion line.
Can’t wait for the build up on Sky before the game. They can talk about all the other more interesting games so far this weekend. Maybe we can hear about Utd and Mourinho from a former Utd star. Then onto the main build up as they discuss Liverpool and show highlights from when spurs played their last game.
How long do we think it'll be before their 'golden generation' realise they aren't going to actually win anything and start demanding moves to big clubs? I reckon Kane and Alderwhatisname will be gone this summer. Erikson and Ali the one after, swiftly followed by their manager. What does everyone else think?
A good chance of it. They're a top 4 team, but don't look like they will actually come top 1. Mind you, the season is very young, maybe they will pull something out of the hat. But it's very difficult to keep a squad together when they are not quite getting there.
Yep, our new image - bunch of thugs. Compensation for not having any fancy dans on advantageous loan terms
I'm really hoping that we get something from this game, heart says a win head says a loss, so a draw would be nice. However as long as we don't get a thrashing I will not be overly upset if we lose.
I’m pleased Javi’s sticking to his guns. 2 up top against their 3 CBs will be interesting. Great to see Chalobah back on the bench! And without a CM to bring on previously we were lacking in a key area that may be necessary to change the tide of a game. This gives us a lot more tactical flexibility.
As Deeney equalises against spurs in a top of the table clash, in our fourth premiership season on a sunny summers day, infront of a packed four sided vicarage road, the sky cameras cut to Elton and his kids in their Watford kits giving their dad a hug in the stands and jumping excitedly. Elton smiles as he sits in a stand named after the great man, opposite a stand named after our greatest manager (The stands of a solvent club, worth more than Newcastle United apparently and full of international players) The spurs fans look sad on the cameras. “How is this happening” they ask. Internationally on TVs and streams across the world the refrains of “youre not singing anymore” and “Watford F.C.” spill out Edit: and then we score a second as I write this Fantasy, pure fantasy 8 years ago, We are basically living in a time of Watford Fan Fiction. I never thought I’d see us beat spurs, ever
Wow. I thought we were poor up until the Spurs goal but that only seemed to serve to wake us up and we were brilliant from then onwards. There is definitely a real steel and team spirit to the team this season that we haven't seen in years. Well done to everyone.
Great response to going behind the first time this season. Only disappointment was the commentator spaffing about how this affects the oh so important title race. "This is a must win game for Tottenham" etc etc
Lacklustre 1st half. Last 20 mins amoungst the most composed and professional I've seen in 30 odd years of following the orns. We dindn't deserve the points but fully earned them.
Wow is about the only way to describe it We were outclassed but had more heart and determination by a long way, did you see how success celebrated the first goal before he came on, that’s a man that wants his team to win Foster did well and kept us in it (goal was sloppy but a mistake bound to happen eventually), all of out defence very strong I thought success looked a right handful when he came on, wonder if he is actually what we have been looking for
