Not been this nervous for a game for a looooong time, certainly not for any positive reasons! COME ON YOU ORRRRRNS!!!!!

 

We’ve beaten them twice this season... that’s the only reason I think we are going to lose today . Still excited about it though. 100% fit squad apparently , when was the last time that happened ?

 

Can we check if Perreyra is going to turn up for this game.

 

With the wind the game will be a complete lottery. 50/50 call.

No Zaha is very good news . Just got to hope Townsend doesn’t have his one in 20 decent match . Pretty much expected line up for us but not sure about dahlberg on the bench . If Gomes gets injured would he be ready to step in for such a big match ?

 

Yeah, if you're going to put out a full-strength outfield 10, you may as well put Foster there

 

I was thinking the same with the goalkeeping situation. One dodgy Gomes flap or injury could make a difference. Would've bought back Foster as we are at the business end of the competition now but I guess Gracia knows best.

 

Really disappointed we have gone with Gomes rather than Foster. The rest of the team looks ok (Femenia ahead of janmaat ??) but Foster is the better keeper so should have played. Why would we not play our best 11 ? It's not a time to be sentimental - what happens if we get to the final ? The more I think about this, the more it winds me up.

Whilst I understand your thoughts about going with the strongest line-up available, you talk like Gomes is Jack Bonham! He’s not conceded in the cup yet and has been reliable.

 

No Zaha just nails it. We’ll lose in feeble fashion and we won’t even be able to blame it on a dodgy Zaha penalty.

Classic Watford to balls it up when the stars appear to be aligning for us.

 

Palace are playing their reserves. We should grind them into the dust.

 

I don't talk like he's Jack Bonham, I talk like he's not as good as Foster. Or do you think he's our best keeper and so is our best chance of getting through ?? In which case we should play him in the league too. He weakens the team, not a lot, but it's weaker with him in there, for no reason other than sentiment. Fine against Woking. Not fine in the QF.

 

He won't get the better of Wan Bissaka.

 

I would have preferred Zaha to play, get booked for diving after a VAR penalty overturned and win 3-0. But I'll take him being out i guess, batshuayi isnt a bad player.

 

Would have preferred Foster but Gomes was fantastic at QPR. Just hope it doesn't go to penalties. Love him or hate him Zaha is a massive miss for them. A huge chance to progress to the plastic stadium.

 

Holly **** Batman! No Zaha! I was already dreaming of seeing us win the cup, I’d say our chances have just gone from around 3% to 4% now! Come on you Hornets!!

He's a great player and an excellent signing for them. Shame he was always going to be out of our reach.

 

No Sahko(?) and no Zaha is good, still going to be close though especially with the weather being as it is.
