Buy him back for £5m ,get him on form for the rest of this season, sell him again next season for £20m when he looses it again
I think this will be a draw which won’t suit either side. We always seem to play well against West Ham at home but never kill them off (last season was a prime example). Moyes as their new coach just means they will play like his old Everton side which play mostly on the counter attack. I’m going to this one too as since Lawrence is gonna be there for MOTD 2 I want to ask him something but managing to actually speak to him is not easy lol. Also my GF’s birthday so I’m really hoping we win for her too.
Three things wf; 1. If Lawrence is there is it TE or DH? 2.If it is TE,on no account ask for a ride on his bike! If DH steer clear of the potting shed! 3.Is your GF confused?!
Definitely, there was nothing more nerve tingling than a whole stadium singing his song after he scores.
Confused about what? She wants to go so I just said it would be nice for the boys to get a win especially on her b’day that’s all. Lawrence I was referring to Mark (Mr predict) I just want to know why he is so bitter over Watford in his predictions week in week out. Oh and RC my bad there sorry.
Oh I do apologise ! I thought by GF you were referring to your Grandfather! Yes,I was just jesting on the Lawrence front!
RC what is your problem with me? I’m sick of being belittled about my gender. If you are doing it for fun then please grow up. I won’t bother with this forum if all I get is scathing attacks on me from every post. Can I not just support the team and talk about them regardless of what’s between my legs? It’s beginning to irate me now. Do I question your gender? No I don’t. So please do me the decency of applying that logic to myself and other members of this forum.
Don’t worry, Relegation Certs is trying to make sure that you’re not one of those pedophile hunters. He’s been caught it before
It's the first game since my daughter was born. It's also sadly the first game since my dad passed away on Tuesday morning after a long illness. He took me to my first game in 88 when I was but a boy. God bless him. From elation to devastation in 1 week. Football suddenly pales into the distance. We will win 2-0. One scored for my newborn, one for my late father. Goals scored by Cleverley and a cracker from Holebas.
Congratulations and commiserations at the same time TC. I suppose that illustrates the concept of passing on the baton. Her turn to run the relay now...
My boy was a mascot for the Boro GT game. Led the team out with Troy. He's next in line for the Hornet ups and downs.
Silva saying that Sunday may come to soon for Peryera. They said exactly the same 3 weeks ago! There is something seriously wrong with the medical department at this club.
I reckon we’ll be on last on MOTD2 (or they’ll cancel it completely or move to Monday night at silly o’clock then put us on last!
Andy Carroll decides that instead of clearing it, he backheels it into the path of Holebas for a sitter. 1-0.
Apparently Moyes has been focusing on set-pieces. Pity he didn't do a couple of week's work experience at Watford before starting at West Ham
I really hope we stop this bad run of results. But this is typical Watford playing a team with a new boss and low on confidence, only points one way 0 1
I originally put us down to win 4-1 because Moyes is pap. However I just saw that West Ham haven’t won in 4 games and have conceded 23 goals, the most in the Prem so far this season. This now puts us down to lose as we are the gift that keeps giving to the crap teams who are struggling and can’t win. West Ham 4-1 Watford
Congratulations and condolences tonytache. Well they ruddy well should be! They're professional footballers so get on and be professional, not some rag,tag and bobtail bunch of half hearted, mealy mouthed, lilly livered sour pusses! COME ON!
We know how it's going to go. Dominate them for the whole match without scoring and then Carroll scores from their only corner in the 90th minute.
With all the shenanigans going on this week I'd almost forgotten we have a game tomorrow. WHU have been cack all season, I can't think of many of their players that I would pick in our team, Fonte out, Hernandez (?) out, new manager, what a great time to play us. As others have mentioned, if you're having a tough time then we are often there to lend a helping hand. New manager. I have to say I am finding it difficult to put into words how disappointed I would be if we lost Silva and appointed Moyes, what a negative sour faced feck, awful, just awful. I fail to see how that man could get anywhere near motivating anyone. There's going to be some very grumpy Mockneys over the coming weeks/months me thinks. Half decent performance and we should win this comfortably, given the above can see this being Stoke v2.0, 0-1 loss to a badly defended corner, and Moyes still looking like he is sucking a lemon in the press conference afterwards. Silva sucking a toffee probably. If Carrillo is knackered coming back from the play offs can we play Gray on the right with Stef up front for this one please.
I'll be watching in a boozer full of West Ham, who unanimously expect us to wallop them. This can only mean one thing: A half arsed effort, and a 0-2 defeat with both goals coming from set pieces. Hopefully I'll be wrong, and our players put in a good shift, but the managerial uncertainty will be a significant distraction, and a lot of them have form over the past two seasons for downing tools when it looks like the boss is on his way out.
