By the way, what is the form with the match fred? Is there a rota or is it first come first served? Or shall Clive just do it now as he does it so brilliantly?

I think it would be dangerous because when I start laughing at my desk people start coming to look at my screen. One in 4 or 5 would be safer.

Straight into my top 3 Buckinghamians alongside Tracey Ullman & Dele Alli.

Almost certainly into the top 2.

A thin field but I’m sure I’ve missed some.

I’m just a hazardous late night moped’s ride down the A41.

That’s all you need to know about who is a proper fan .

For decades, Manchester United would've been the big team I disliked the most but now they just seem a bit pointless and I almost feel a bit sorry for their fans.

City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs all play the kind of modern game you'd expect from a big club. Even Arsenal are going to give it a go this season after finally binning Wenger about 6/7 seasons too late.

United on the other hand are left playing like a sort of uber-expensive Stoke, parking the bus at home to their big club rivals and trying to stodge their way past the smaller teams by chucking the ball in the mixer for the two Belgian flat track bullies Fellaini and Lukaku to try to get a lucky ricochet and tuck it away.

Actually a pretty good summary to be fair. Doubt many of their fans would disagree.

Ive met people who love football but when you ask them what team they support they say "nobody, i just love football".

I'd accept glory, never been to a game fans who dont know when their teams playing over "nobody".

Berko was my youthful operations base although we lived closer to Cholesbury.

One of the guys behind WSC was interviewed about why they carry on not really focussing on the PL and spouting all that "Greatest League in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" crap. He said he was at a media "do" and got speaking to another bloke who asked him what his magazine "did". When he told him it was football the other bloke's next question was "I'm a big fan of Charlton - how are they doing now..."

I only know one non-supporting football fan. He's Northern Irish, which may explain it. Despite not having a club to support, he watches a lot of football and is very knowledgeable

I'm sure there are people on here that feel similar with other sports. In my case I like both rugby and cricket however I don't follow a team or county I really only watch England play.

I have also been waiting for the answer to that, seems nobody knows.
I think it must be just a case of being the first to post. Need to get it right though to compete with the excellent match thread headers that have been posted recently.

United are reporting that Fellaini is injured on their official site.

If we can cut out silly free kicks in Ashley Young cross/shot territory I think we have a really good chance.

He is quite an important player for United, allows them a bit of aggression in the middle.

Clive does it or if he can’t be arsed someone else does. Maybe we do a rota next season

I have now read the whole thread. I still don't understand if our 4-4-2 will cause more problems to Utd than Brightons 4-5-1. Also did I miss the answer to "you live in Norway and can afford to have a season ticket for and attend matches at Old Trafford. And you choose to do that in February rather than flying to Spain to support Barcelona?"

As I posted previously, United fans are still expecting that he'll play. Shaw is more likely to miss out.

Considering how much of our game is based on out-battling the opposition, that our last two goals were from set-pieces, and Fellaini is their strongest player in the air and was important for them in their win against Burnley, this is very good for us. Matic and Fellaini would keep Doucs and Deeney very quiet.

Shaw is definitely out. He must serve a seven-day concussion protocol, so cant play.
