If big Steff put a similar mask on he might be able to trick Silva into playing him!

Thought that too. He threw it on the floor.

I didn’t see the toss for kickoff so didn’t know who was captain. At the start of the second half I notice Troy wasn’t wearing it but could see anybody wearing it either!

    Nothing.

Absolutely nothing happened on shoutbox is what happened.

You'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise, but no.

I thought the Rookery was OK today. I knock their efforts frequently so I’ll praise them when they perform!

    Is that patronising?

I could hear them from the other end of SEJ stand today. Not continuous or their best effort but much better than recent matches.

Spuds fans just chant *** all the time.

Great result. We needed that red card as I've no doubt Spurs would have put 2 or 3 more past us with 11 men because we just weren't stopping Trippier, so thanks Atkinson for spotting that elbow, despite missing both penalty shouts.

Massive game next weekend. If not a must win, certainly a must-not-lose.

Arsenal have also failed to score against 10 men, so we're in good company.

What amazes me even more how you would find that, having found that your stream was ahead of everyone else's, would find pretending that Watford had scored when they hadn't, would "brighten up people's day."

Still, as you imply, it is merely a game of football, not life and death.

    Delighted with a point.
I agree that Chas needs a break as he looks off the pace and he got very little out of Trippier.
Carillo had a few good opportunities to cross and his deliveries were dismal.I thought his decision making was better on Tuesday but today he missed a few passes when Kiko was overlapping and decided to cut back inside.
Spurs defended very well after the red card and we were understandably cautious at times, given their threat on the break.
I thought it was a penalty but others who were closer thought it would have been harsh.
What a great shot from Doucoure,so unlucky not to score.
I enjoyed giving my Beaker from The Muppets impression to Debbie. I think he was impressed!

Lot's of talk on BBC Radio 5 how we "continually fouled" Kane this afternoon. I think he was intentionally looking for them myself, but I think maybe we could have had someone sent of for two yellows.

I also think it should definitely have been a penalty at the end, but understand how the ref could not have been sure from his viewpoint.

But the ref was pretty poor overall I felt.

    Good point, though.

Wasn't in the Shoutbox today, but it sounds like I missed some side splitting humour.

What are your plans for the evening? Shouting "fire" in a crowded theatre? Bet that one would raise a few chortles.

I thought Marvin TPA was fortunate not to have two yellows.
It seemed to me Silva told them not to let the player get away,a la Lingard and they followed instructions.

It looked to me, that after the red card Kane was taking to the ground looking to level the teams. He is a cheating bstard.

Did Dirty Alley spit at Pereyra after he’d pushed him? It looks like it on the replay.

Funny quote of the day goes to the bloke sitting in the row behind me. When Ali fell down in the first half the bloke behind yelled ‘get up Ali, you’ll bruise ya backside’

The Shoutbox has been running for over 5 years...did you really think that joke hasn't been done ad nauseam?

The rules have been in place for several years that any false goal notifications will face a ban.

Try and understand that people are watching delayed streams or following the game on the Shoutbox so if you post 'GOAL!!' it gets confusing and annoying.

That was one of the worst interviews I have ever heard. He basically just allowed pochittono to say whatever he want, based on some easy fed lines.

Kane was clearly trying to get Kabesele sent off, which is why silva subbed him. Son is a diving cheating c**t whose face I would never get tired of slapping

Nothing mentioned of those, not the (clear) red card - pochittino thought it was unfair that they had to play for 40 mins with 10 men....well don’t ******* elbow somebody in the face then, you ****.

Nothing about the penalty appeal, obviously.

The interviewer must have found a few polyps up there whilst he was at it.

    Weak as piss.

Atkinson spotted **** all, surprisingly enough - 4th official gave the red card decision.

Three Tottenham in front of us today so the normal game ensued. "Harry Kane is a white Zaha" got one of them to turn around, "I thought Spurs were good but in reality they're utter sh*te" got the 2nd one, but the 3rd never moved a muscle even when the boy chimed in. 4/10.

The Alli Pereyra argument was right in line of where I sit. I thought that Alli was going to spit at Pereyra but he didn't. It was in front of the ref so had he done so it would have been another red.

They didn’t. It was a comment out of frustration and not being able to buy two tickets given my booking history and my dad also having some on record but no Fan ID.

Was it that Bobby P stopped a quick free kick and Alley pushed him?

Didn’t look like Pereyra did much at all

One of the quieter post match threads!

Guess it just shows everyone is pretty satisfied without the performance being that great but certainly deserving of a draw.

We weren't as effective in attack - not an ideal game for Pereyra and Capoue/Carrillo didn't make the impact hoped for.

Maybe could have put Gray on earlier to give them something to think about?

Maybe I'm still a bit little old Watford but I'm happy with a point against Spurs, they're in a lull at the moment but still a very good side.

Thought blight would have passed by then so got to count yourself unlucky there. Did mine in pots in the greenhouse. Probably more expensive than buying them but a sense of achievement. Hope the sharks went well.

Happy with a point and while it was being played the game was pretty absorbing. But a couple of hours later I can't think of much to write about. My main pondering of the evening is there - has there ever been a side in the history of the game offside more times than Spurs?

Although the ref could have given one of our players a second booking, Spurs didn't help themselves by rolling around if they'd been shot each time. One example was when Atkinson signalled that a Spurs player had been held, they went down holding his shin.

How Son escaped a booking for two blatant dives which Atkinson correctly waved play on. The second was worse and the fact that it took about 2 minutes for the ball next to go out of play meant that he escaped a booking as the ref had obviously forgotten about it.

Would have settled for a draw before the game and it was a match we could have equally won or lost

Generally a bit sloppy in possession , we looked uncomfortable in possession when Spurs pressed in the first half

Richarlison looked out on his feet towards the end, needs a rest

Trppier had acres of space all game, was Marvin Z told to ignore him?

    Kane goes down so easily

Interesting that both Spurs fans and ours are noticing that their players are fatigued - but tennis players manage equally high levels of physical intensity all year, playing hours at a time with only a day or so to recover, often playing through injury and still manage to cope.
    What gives?

Kane was **** and spent the entire game rolling around on the floor whenever one of our CBs came near him

Not a fan of Mapps generally but my MOTM today, defended well and showed leadership

Carrillo and Capoue both dreadful when they came on

We probably should have won that, but a draw is a good result and a fair one. Spurs with 11 men would have won 3-1 at least

Fair play to the stewards for kicking out the guy in the Rookery who tried to start a chant about “gassing”
