Deeney's messed up a few good passing opportunities now.

Though why didn't he just shoot after that interception?!

Ah, Miss Whittaker, and her mini skirt.
    No wonder I couldn't concentrate.

    Come on Watford

It did look just about offside on the replay.
A shame considering Deulofeu had suddenly remembered how to finish again.

I feel like we would do better with a pacy striker i.e Success. Don't have much faith in Deeney being able to outpace anyone sadly.

Don't feel like he's offering anything today. Looking more and more suited to an impact sub role. Success should not have been dropped in favour of him.

    Foster has been excellent.

Yep. Deeney is back to looking off the pace and poor in the pass. I'm sure Success would have nailed a couple of the through ball opportunities Deeney made a mess out of.

How have we been doing? Also why are we talking on here and not on shoutbox?

Yeah, us emigrants especially need a shoutbox, which basically makes not having one a hate crime

Yep. Waltzed back into the side after a decent sub appearance and is now back to doing nothing. He's finished as a starter, he should be an impact sub and nothing more.

Playing too defensively as far as I'm concerned. We are missing Success's strength and pace, get him on. Deeney hasn't really done anything wrong, but then he hasn't really done anything at all. VVD could have been playing blindfolded.

At this point I honestly don't see what Deeney has over Success? A bit of "fire" maybe and a slightly better finisher (not that he has many chances with his lack of movement)? Success is just as strong, wins just as much in the air, is much faster, has a better touch, can run at people and is a better passer. Success should also improve with game time as he enters his prime, whereas Deeney is only going one way.

Deulofeu linking the play and a threat in behind. Deeney doing absolutely nothing. Off you go Gerard.

Looks a smart decision to continue leaving our best centre back on the bench as we ship yet another 3 goals.

Gracia is a typical case of a manager who plays favourites. Deulofeu our only threat goes off in favour of Deeney offering absolutely zero goal threat for 90 minutes (again), Hughes starts and offers nothing wide right (again... though he should have had a penalty), Mariappa starts against one of the best attacks in the league despite clearly being out of his depth, whilst a Belgian international and our best centre back sits on the bench (again).

    Good times.

At the moment I feel like I'm done with the EPL. It's hard enough to compete with the top teams without the referees helping them out.

I would happily go back to the Championship and leave the cheating ****ers to it.

Urgh... that was an annoying game to watch.

Penalty shout looked stonewall. De ja vu.

In the positives column, I though Cathcart looked pretty impressive for most of the game. Masina has slotted in well. I though Doucoure looked a bit more like his old self and Capoue again was strong.

However I was disappointed Success didn't start, and I think Hughes has been ineffective out on the right for a while now. It's not his position, though he does his best. I'd like to see Gerard out there on the right, Success up front on his own, with Chalobah coming in to a midfield three with Capoue and Doucoure. Gerard and Pereyra given real license to attack from the wings, with the midfield three covering.

Some kind of change is needed, at least. Tough games coming up.

    Lukebakio looks exciting!

Harsh result but we lacked quality up front and over-comitted at the end.

Jon Moss needs to find the tallest bridge he can and fall off it.

    I am gutted.

Very disappointed in Gracia dropping Success, taking off Dele instead of Deeney, and a general capitulation from in our entire game plan an set up.

But playing Deeney from the off is probably one of the puzzling decisions I have seen in some time.

I don't know how he does it. He must be absolutely fantastic in training, or something, cos he does next to nothing on the pitch.

Deeney was dreadful today. Success simply must start over him. Thought Masina looked good. Cathcart played well. Doucoure getting some form back. Never a 0-3.

    Very harsh result.

Moss yet again has cost us points and I have no doubt was in the showers with Klopp and his merry men.

There should be a serious enquiry into his ability to referee a Watford game fair. He just doesn’t like us. Maybe he had a girlfriend from Watford that broke his heart and has never let it go. Either way, his shocking performance has yet again screwed us.

The offside should have stood. Pathetic by the lino flagging so late. The penalty was as blatant as last week, yet not given.

Liverpool have got away with one and they all have Moss to thank for it.

I don’t mind losing when we’ve been outplayed but to lose like that due to poor officiating is always frustrating.

Moss hates us and should never ref another game for us.

Moss is a poor referee. Against the top teams you need the referee to make the correct calls and he once again failed to do so.

Thought that score line was a bit harsh really. We defended well especially in the first half and it should of been a penalty.

Liverpool really came at us SH as I expected them to, it’s a shame as that score line flatters them a bit.

Shane Delafoo was offside with his goal, could of changed things. They sat back deeper and deeper and piled us after half tine with us offering nothing in reply. Peyera had a shot parried but other than that it was backs to the walls.

Miss can Feck off, always does us over. I didn’t expect anything out of this I’ve advised many of us rarely do vs the top six. But saying that we could of given it more of a go especially in the first half. No Salad had to score against us again. Always does it.

After that the floodgates naturally opened and Foster did well all gave to keep the score to just three.i love what Deeney and Mapps have given to this club, but why play them against one of the best sides in the land? Jabs was needed at the back fir assured stability. Deeney did nothing all game. He’s a nice guy but we needed a player with energy. Success hasn’t been banging them in but he gives it 100 percent.

Klopp looks like Mr Magoo and I hate his grin and glasses. Gracia got it wrong today with Tactics and selection. I not going to praise Liverpool for winning, because they didn’t really earn it. Yes they won but we lost due to a poor lineup and again crap decisions.

Doesn’t get any easier now, a very tough trip to Leicester where we struggle and then Man City. If we get even a punt out of those I’ll be impressed
    .

Lots of effort from the guys and sone respect to going in at half time goalless. The players on the field were not first choice. Gracia wants to be here for three more seasons? I’m not convinced he knows his best 11 and is brave enough to change it up,

Leaving Moss aside, that is two games in a row that Liverpool have been clearly favoured by the officials. Because the games ended 2-0 and 3-0 little will be made of them but the decisions in both games were at 0-0. How can the likes of Watford and Fulham compete with Liverpool's huge financial advantage when the referees are influencing games in their favour?
