On December 18th last year, a fleet of tinted window Range Rovers (the chariot of the arse) pulled up at a GPs surgery in Henley and Rupert Murdoch got his vaccine. Old man Johnson had his about the same time. Ciff had a call from a friend today asking her if she fancied getting it next week? No problem. All her friend's firm of architects, including the office staff, are getting it. Because they "work with hospitals" y'see. It would be "easy" to pass Ciff off as a member of staff. Just needs her NHS number. All the family and friends and neighbours are down on the list and are getting theirs done. It's easy! Ciff declined to her credit and will wait her turn. You can suppose this same thing will be going on all around the country and the twisting, cheating middle class will be sharp-elbowing their way to the front of the queue. And then they have the effrontery to complain about supposed benefit cheats. Yer middle class are the worst shameless crooks when it comes to looking after themselves and feathering their little nest. Meanwhile, me who's a carer working with the elderly and infirm - not a sniff. One comrade carer apparently says she got hers by phoning her GP and pleading she was a carer and that our company are hopeless. Others have said they will do the same as Sodexo have remained sullenly silent on the subject and we haven't had so much as a "you're fantastic!" flashing email emoji in months. Stories abound of a very diverse range of people who have been "passing by" when they're doing the jabs and have "happened to enquire " whether there's any going spare and have been syringed on the spot. Sounds like organised chaos and they're after numbers for the news rather than properly prioritising.
The architects firm is a disgrace. I have no objections with MPs getting it early, likewise with MSPs, Welsh Sennadd etc as the country has to be run. It also depends on your local NHS trust, give your GP a call. My wife is a part-time carer, she got hers today in Watford.
Our daughter Lilly Longtongue will complete university and pass out as a full paramedic in June. Of course she's already out doing 12 hour shifts on the ambulance (0630-1830 today) dealing with Covid patients while dressed in the complete cyberman outfit. For no pay, of course. Well in fact, she pays them for the pleasure with the course fees. And the compulsory £800 she has to find for lesssons/test on C1 driving licence category so she can drive the ambulance. She hasn't had any news about her vaccine yet. England is a bitchfortrue...
Well, clearly if this is true the NHS staff in question should be reported to the GMC. I would include Otter’s GP.

It has nothing to do with our GP, the charity my wife works for involves caring for vulnerable people, the charity arranged for the vaccination of carers. In fact in @Clive_ofthe_Kremlin ought to push for his employer to arrange vaccination of carers rather than the GP as I suggested earlier.
Well, clearly that is different then. Yes, I agree - it should be the responsibility of the employer to sort it in this type of instance.

Rupert Murdoch is nearly 90! How do you know he is queue jumping. Boris is the PM, for heavens sake. I would expect all senior politicians to get the vaccine asap, there is a country to run. There are a lot of vaccines potentially going to waste due to invitations by the primary group not accepting the vaccine, or not turning up after appointmnets were booked. The booking system was opened up to over 75's for a few days in Nottingham recently, for just that reason. With nearly half a million getting the jab at breakneck speed a day, there are bound to be inconsistencies. Stop moaning.
