Genuinely felt gutted after that 1 on 1 miss today! Score that things imo end up differently! I feel we have grown a weird romance and about 9 of us (Woking fans) down the pub we’re routing for you today!!! Done bromance this! Be proud of what you’ve done this year, congrats!
What can I say? Gutted that chance didn't go in, gutted we didn't get the penalty, but if it's any consolation, it probably wouldn't have changed the game to any meaningful extent. Gave it a go, ultimately City are a ******* brilliant team, scary thing is I don't think we were THAT bad out there! Congrats to you on your great season, and thanks for the kind words from you and your club! Would love to play you again some time, hope you do well back in the National League!
You say that but let’s be honest, Man City are a class above anyone in you league, if not the world. They had a few off game this year. It would easily beat 95% of every team In the world. You score first... they still possibly win 5 or 6-1. You’ve done yourself proud to be here and finish where you did in the Orem. Congratulations and I wish you the best for next year!!! (Now please give us players to j loan as we are stuffed next season!!!)
How kind of you Woking_Fan to take the time and be so supportive. It is a pity that some of our fans cannot be as favourable to the team. I'm sure they really enjoyed being battered in front of a worldwide audience. Good luck to you next season.
Cheers - they were just so clinical against our defence which isn't the best anyway. Good luck and well done on the promotion.
Our team will put their headphones in, listen to music and get chauffeured back to their mansions and millions and await a call from their agents to tell them when they can get a big move away from this hellhole. Apart from Deeney who will be in the back of a Renault Master eating a cauldron full of donner meat and chips washed down with Mexican designer lager as he looks to "bulk" over the summer.
I can't decide if you genuinely haven't picked up on when a poster is a WUM or if yours is a spoof account. Hmm, tricky one.
Just ignore the ****, sadly on this forum we have a few who make comments thinking they are clever when they are really not.
I call someone a clown and you criticise me, someone else says they hope their cherished home burns down and you laugh along with them. Top stuff.
Really classy, insult a Woking fan for offering his condolences and then wish the death of a Palace fan who defends him. I'm more embarrassed that we have fans like you than our 6-0 defeat yesterday.
I honestly feel we should play woking preseason. Seemed a good day out. Perhaps even loan them some developmental players that are at that level Good club, decent fans them lot
Sorry guys,I went ott with my reply, Mod please delete all the posts that have my reply in quoted section? I should've just taken the insult on the chin.I did want you to win yesterday and honestly think it might have been so different had that chance been lifted over the keeper rather than straight at him, No I'm not one of the Watford haters, always enjoyed coming to VR & as I've said I prefer proper clubs . See you next season
I hearby rescind egg and chips. You’re just like us. An unfashionable team in a **** hole of a town sticking our middle fingers up to the top 6. I still don’t like old bug eyes zig a zig ha and fail to see where you’ll sell him. No top 6 team will have him. He failed at Utd. My suggestion sell him to Everton for 40M. Do that and you have my axe
Unfortunately I can see us being relegated or close to it!!! We are going to be the only part time team in the league so it will be a seriously tough ask for us to stay up!!
It does happen. And also the other way. For instance, Watford FC turned part time at 5.45pm on Saturday.
Wow, didn't realise that the National League was so professional! I guess it is a bit of a Wild West out there, no FFP rules at all hence Salford could do what they did. Hope you can find some decent players who fancy working while playing, I've heard that you can make more money that way
Semi-professional would be a good step for him, proper work experience in readiness for the final step out of football.
