Good win, though both teams were quite frantic towards the end!

20 minutes in and Granada are 1-0 up to Athletic Bilbao, playing at home. Goal came in the 5th minute from Laporte (own goal). You wouldn't put any money on Granada holding out though, with their recent record. Fingers crossed.

Good day for our sisters so far.

Good win for Udinese. Happy for a decent performance and 3 badly needed points.

Granada 2-0 up at 5' from FT, let's hope they avoid other concentration lapses ad they've played well against a strong Athletic Bilbao 9th in table. With a win they move up the table.
I notice the young Adalberto Penaranda (18YO) from the B team is first striker in this whole match. Interesting, with Success who is 19YO it's an incredibly young attack.

    FT, 2-0!
It's only the second win for Granada this season, after the one won away Vs. Getafe on August 30th.
It's the first clean sheet this season.

Next week: away at Malaga last in table for a hugely important 6-points match. Come on Granada!

When was the last time all 3 won the same weekend? Probably had happened this season but it seems when we lose our 'family' do well and vice versa, never the same.

I'm not sure it has ever happened so far. Certainly not this season, as the only other win by Granada was August 30th, in that weekend Watford lost 2-0 with ManCity (August 29th) and Udinese lost 0-1 with Palermo (August 30th).

Maybe last season but I'm not sure, because a triple Pozzo win is something I've been waiting for long and I think I would have noticed.
Anyway, it would be a feat really worth of note only this season, when all the three teams are in the top tier so ... let's wait for a weekend of glory for all the cousins and hope it comes soon.

It wouldn't be impossible, with a bit of luck, next weekend as none of the three matches seems impossible even if all are away.
Granada away with Malaga 20th in table. Hugely important to try to win to get out of the group of 5 at the bottom.
Watford away with Villa 20th in table. A win would be excellent to keep a good position in table before harder fixtures oncoming.
Udinese away with Chievo 11th in table, just 1 point above us. A win could lead us near the left side of the table, very crowded in the middle.

Every team won their opening game last season but unfortunately they didn't all start the same week!

Both Granada and Watford won on Aug 23rd 2014 and Udinese's season hadn't begun.

On March 8th 2014, Udinese and Granada both won but WFC's fixture that weekend was postponed because of the FA Cup.

But Sherlock is correct actually, there hasn't been a week where the Trinity has come away with 9 points. Plenty of occasions when the three teams have got 7 points though.

I'm almost sure, as sherlock, that the trinity has never won their 3 games in the same week.

By the way: Peñaranda made a great game and everyone is now wanting him to be regular in the A team. Im not surprised, saw him in the B team and knew about his quality.

Against Athletic I think we had the youngest trident (as we call in Spain the 3 offensive players as the MSN or the BBC, don't know if that term is used in England or Italy): Success (19yo), Peñaranda (18yo) and Ibanez (22yo).

A great fight back by Granada! 2-2 away vs Malaga.

I think we had one of our worst games tonight, so I'm kinda happy about the 2-2 after a 2-0...

We are still over the relegation places, but next game is against Atletico de Madrid, not likely optimist about it.

Glass half empty: how on Hell can you go 0-2 when you were 0-1 but opponents were down to 10 men 4' earlier?
Glass half full: good to recover 1 point, going 2-2 when you were 0-2 at 7' from the end.

Still tastes as a good chance wasted for 3 points, but a point away from home is never to be overlooked when you're fighting against relegation.

Udinese 2-1 up against Chievo. The 2nd half has just started, and goals either side of HT have put them in the driving seat. Come on!

Edit: Chievo equaliser with 20 mins to go. 2-2.

Edit: 3-2 Udinese! About 10 mins to go I'd say, including stoppage time.

Edit: FT! Another win for Udinese :mengoal:

A great win in a very brilliant and well played match by both sides. I'm happy!
Now we have 18 points in 14 games and sit currently 11th in table. Much much better!

So, this was as close as it goes so for for a trinity triple. Granada should have won!

Yep! 7/9 points is not bad at all, considering all three matches were away.
But it's a pity Granada missed a good chance for 3 precious points. Its next match, against Atletico Madrid 2nd in table, doesn't seem promising for chances to gain points.
