Two game ban for diving

The FA have announced that diving ('deceiving a match official') leading to winning a penalty or causing a red card for an opponent will result in a two game ban from next season:

About time they started to do something about this.

 

Whatever will Zaha do now?

 

Golf, lots of it by the look of things.

 

Maybe they should deduct any points that the team won during the game. That would stamp it out.

 

I see Big Sam Allardyce has come out to say the 'diving ban' is "ridiculous". I wonder if that's got anything to do with the fact that his player, Wilfried Zaha, has been booked, what, three times this season for diving?

 

Harry the Hornet made his opinion clear.

 

Great idea as long as it is decided correctly. Anyone going down before the contact or sticking a leg out to make contact has to be banned. I hate it when ex-pros say it can’t be a dive because there was contact.

 

I think the panel should include:

Jurgen Klinsmann
Didier Drogba
Ashley Young
Neymar
Arjen Robben

They'll soon stamp it out.

 

Surely that would be driving.
