Could actually see him in MLS, especially as it would allow him to build profile with American media in which he'd be an interesting commodity - straight talking, direct, blunt commentary that could do well in some media outlets.

 

That being said him sneaking out at the end of the window just because he’s fallen down the pecking order would be both rather unceremonious and tell us something about the true nature of his battling mentality.

Getting the wages off the books would be a genuine millstone removed from around our neck, though.

No. I think it extremely unlikely, with a prison sentence for violence. He is not Prince Andrew, so can’t seeing them keen to welcome him.

If Troy leaves I would expect it to be either a mega money deal to China Or a sporting decision to go somewhere to play more and win promotion. Not sure though where that fits. As the only clubs with the money are the Parachute money clubs.

Troy is pretty well known throughout the football world, if only for his Leicester goal. I'd imagine there will be plenty of suitors, just not the one Deeney wants.
