Hi all Its a stupid question and probably obvious to someone but im new to The Vic. I have a ticket for Southampton in SEJ8 stand but am now unable to go, am i able to transfer, assign or just give it to a mate (who has never been) or are all tickets id specific and id required at turnstile? I know in the small print it says i would need written permission before but in reality is this necessary? Thanks in advance
There's automatic facial recognition in the turnstiles when you present your ticket to the scanner. If the face doesn't match the photo you sent when you ordered the ticket it'll buzz loadly and flash red and refuse them entry. Happened to me once. Was really embarrassing.
All good matey. I've had 3 kids, got old and fat since I last gave an ID to the club when I was a Junior Hornet in 1988!
You'll be fine giving it to someone else. Though if you can't go because the date of the game was changed the club will just refund you.
