We've avoided selling our stars to another Prem club but we could still lose somebody to them European bastards.

I think it turned out pretty good. The window I'm more excited about is this January. There will be players all over the shop needing first team football to try and force their way into international setups for Euro 2020. You'd have to think as long as we can stay at the right end of the league, we can lure some in.

I see that last season Iwobi scored 6 goals in 51 appearances, and Welbeck scored 5 in 14.

A couple of Gooner friends are delighted with getting so much for Iwobi.

I know, which is definitely great to have in the squad. I just meant he has played predominantly as a RB in his career. That is his most natural position, so would like him to push Femenia on. Janmaat is a glass house, so Foulquier is bound to get opportunities, it’s whether he takes them or not. Either way like you said, could be a good option for away games.

Good point, that’s why I think we will go back in for Rose in January. Wouldn’t be surprised if that was a deadline day deal.

The Euro window hasn't ended yet so none of us can really say. If we now sell Doucs and GD it will have been a **** window. As of today it has been excellent.

I've enjoyed the transfer window so much that I haven't been able to bring myself to look at the politics section

    Same same old in there.

Some old guy has a bunch of people convinced he used to work for the Government and The Queen and they endlessly argue forever.

There's been quite a few "ageist" comments on here recently which you will never find me making. I find these comments from callow, insensitive youths insulting.

A-. Just a CB short of a perfect window by keeping a our best players.

Shame only Dawson has had a preseason so we have to hope the others get into shape.

Sarr played throughout the most of summer so only really needed a rest you’d think - his fitness levels will be the same as players who returned after the WC last year and the majority of them played from the start, if not just after. I’d be surprised if we see Welbeck before mid-September though IMO.

I don’t know, he was at our training ground. I’m sure the fact him being there, he would have some clue about what the offer was.
