No idea. Just seen Di Marzio say he’s in Kiev to finalise the deal.

 

Seferovic dragged at HT after one of the most anonymous efforts of the tournament thus far.

 

The whole of the Swiss team has been getting spanked this game. None of them have played well.

Plus the guy who came on for him got booked with his first touch.

I was actually disappointed with his efforts to get in the box for crosses when he was on though, but I thought his hold-up play was still good.

 

Oh I get that it’s not easy to play against this Italy defence. But I never saw him once even attempt to get into the game. Same as with his 1st game.

Can’t argue with his record last season so maybe he’s better at club level. But I’ve not seen anything that makes me think PL defenders wouldn’t deal with him on a regular basis.

I can't say too much, but talks are ongoing. Not necessarily with each other but both sides are in talks.

Ok only playing one of the weaker nations in the tournament but he can finish and he looks a big unit.

I wanted us to sign him 18 months ago back in the January transfer window of our last season of the Prem, either then or if we had stayed up in the summer:

Sadly I think he's probably out of reach for us now, whether due to his price (it'd prob be £20mil+), or due to other more established clubs going in for him.

 

Especially if he scores a couple more in this tournament. Ive not seen him play for gent or even looked at his record there. If he was to go to a more established club could you see him starting? We would probably have that carrot to dangle but like you said his value would most likely be out our reach.

West Ham linked. Would start for them you’d think as they need an out and out striker.

 

They need the squad too with their euro excursion. Antonio would still be my first choice

Antonio is excellent and has done enough playing as a striker to stop all this “makeshift striker” and “we don’t have a striker” stuff at West Ham. But they’ll sign a £20-30m striker this summer due to perceived need (and Antonio’s injury record)

Josh King on a free? I think he would work well in a front two with Abraham.

The whole 58817521 family have a long history of being ITK.

 

I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to spent next season playing in League 1. A dream come true.

 

I mean, the perfect response to him in that scenario would be that he shouldn’t have spent the last few years p1ssing his career up the wall then if he didn’t want to land in League One. Not sure he’s done anything to prove he’s worthy of better than that level.
