I thought we were looking for a decent striker, Okaka is blowing out his poopy hole after 10 minutes.
Michael Obafemi has suffered a muscle injury in training. So he now falls into our category of signings. Announcement soon.
Swansea seemed likely to sign him, so they'll now have to look elsewhere. Awful for a player who I think just needs regular games in the Champ to get going, but Swansea now can't or will struggle to strengthen up top.
I think wolves would keep him for remainder of season. Their pretty light in that department Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Spurs apparently allowing goalkeeper gazzanigga and full back Danny rose to leave this window. Leicester same with midfielder chudary and winger gray. ( excuse spelling) if we had any aspirations I wouldn’t mind seeing chudary, rose and the goalkeeper but most likely they will all end up staying in premier league. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can only think he must want to stay in Italy then. Or wolves have someone else lined up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think its purely a case of them wanting him to play regularly. He hasn't started once at Fiorentina so they will find somewhere he will.
Odd that as La Viola haven't been doing well* and as ever sold their best player Church the Younger to Juventus in the close season. *3-0 defeat of Juve not withstanding.
Rose's attitude is exactly what we need to come in and perk up this toxic dressing room we spend so much time complaining about, winger is about the only single position we don't actually need anyone in, and old Chudders is actually quite rubbish, I think. He will be viewed as a Chalobah in another couple of years, plus he has an insane tendency of getting stupid reds. Just what the doctor ordered.
Fair enough on rose. I think Gazzanigga would be a good move only 29. Chudary might grow up a little with a move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If Gazzanigga was to come, it certainly would liven up hive commentary. I can hear them now. Gazzanigga with a long throw to Zinkernagel who has a delightful pin point cross for Cucho Hernandez who lays it off perfectly for Vydra who smashes home the hornets 6th of the first half. Fashion Sakala. Pacy. Has a right foot. Decent finisher. Can trap a ball. Once highly touted now not so much. But scoring in a poor team. Eastend in the Belgian League. Blessing Ekeke. Lanky, physical centre forward. Not settled at Beerschot. Can run pretty fast, wallops the ball and does not mind chasing it. Holds the ball up which is also an advantage.
What's the link for the random English word/African surname generator you're using to make these people up? Looks fun.
I am tempted to throw in Knowledge Musona SLB. What a strike force. What a dream for the sports editor coming up with a headline. You know me SLB I watch the Jupiler League religiously. Never miss a game.
Would rather we went for Eloquent Umbongo or Punctual Hakuna-Matata. You wouldn't have heard of them, play in the Armenian top flight.
I work with a Fortune Sakala and a Blessed Horan. Maybe Smudger knows this and just mixed it up a bit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Moving @lowerrous post as requested: It's a risk the Pozzos probably wouldn't take, and our record of signings from Belgium has been poor overall, but profile-wise Ike Ugbo looks an interesting possibility for a striker. Stylistically he's something we lack, very much a quick fox-in-the-box type. He's 22 and English. 10 goals in 16 Jupiler Pro games for the side who are second bottom! He didn't do particularly well when on loan in League One earlier in his career, though he was just 19 at the time. Cercle Brugge have a purchase option for €5mil, and it is believed Chelsea will accept that from other interested clubs as well. That could still be expensive for him, and there could well be other better options out there for less, but anyway. He scores the 2 goals here (from 2mins):
Wouter Burger. Dutch youth international on loan at Sparta Rotterdam. Lanky, skinny good passing range. Covers the ground and not scared to shoot. Hilary Gong. Runs like a train on either wing. Crosses are a bit off the mark but he does love to cut in and shoot. Hard to knock off the ball but still a lot of learning to do especially defensively. Has suffered ACL injuries and like Success, Gong spends more time in the treatment room than playing. Not bad.
Arsenals Greek defender SOKRATIS PAPASTATHOPOULOS is out of contract this summer and is seeking a new club, so surely this guy has to be a prime target for The Pozzos. As it does not matter whether he is a good player or not, because they will make a fortune selling replica shirts with his name on
Apparently we tried to sign him in the past. Can’t see it happening now with Brexit and being in the championship. http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-give-renewal-trying-sell-player-opportunity-newcastle-watford/
