I've watched highlights of all 16 of their games this season: Out of the 13 goals and 8 assists he's had, 4 were after drifting off the left in to more of a #10 position, and 3 of the goals were penalties. The remaining 14 goals and assists were all from the left-hand side. He does not appear to spend anywhere near as much time on the right as the left and he certainly seems far and away more "capable" and productive on the left. You're the one talking out your arse here.
Well I bow to your superior highlights knowledge. There is just no telling some people who believe they already have the answer. If you believe ino the best young player in Norway shouldn't be looked at because we have adequate cover is baffling. Just because he lines up on the left doesn't mean he's incapable of playing on the right side. JPH's heat map coincides with your comment, showing most of his work is left sided. As for Zinckernagel you're are extremely wrong. He is more right sided as his heat map will show below. So sorry to inform you Mr Highlights I'm not the one talking out of my arse.
No doubt you're right. But it's quite clear that certain members can never be wrong in their comments. When it's plain and obvious to some that they are.
Not just superior highlights knowledge - Hauge's heatmap backs me up as well. You clearly were talking out you're arse regarding Hauge - in theory any player can play anywhere, it doesn't mean though that they'd be particularly good at it. Basically everything good Hauge has ever done in his senior career has been on the left-hand side, it would be dumb to play him on the right. As for Zinckernagel, yes he has been playing on the right hand side. I'll admit to not having paid as much attention to him as I had to Hauge prior to my original post, though also as per my original post I was less bothered about having knowledge on him anyway: "No idea if the other guy is good enough, don't really care either." Zinckernagel is 25 and never played outside of Scandinavia or for a decent sized club, has never been capped for Denmark at any level, and this is his first particularly good season during a time when his team are absolutely ******* the league. Those are big question marks as to whether he's at the level we should be targeting,
Yep, hornetboy and Burnsy (and pending you're next reply, you). I accept the rare occasions when I've been mistaken.
Yeah you really deserve a gold medal hornetboy - after years of trying and failing, you've finally caught me out on something. And what a significant thing it is too! I bet you're delighted right now, positively grinning from ear-to-ear like a cheshire cat. Pop open that bottle of champagne you've been saving in the fridge for such an occasion, you've earned it!
This is the biggest lie I think this forum has ever seen. Either that or the one about watching highlights of 16 nondescript Norwegian games just so he can’t be shown up to be a pernickety idiot.
Ah so you watched some YouTube clips and claimed expert knowledge. Thanks for clearing that up. As for the other matter - I’ve never once seen you admit making an error on here with good grace. There’s always a motivating factor of some sort. It’s for this reason people find your constant correcting of them very tiresome.
As I pointed out, of his 21 goals and assists zero have come from the right-hand side - what more is there that really needed to be known?
If we start slowly this season has excellent flounce potential. The forum already feels like a dangerous powder keg.
Came on here to see if anyone had suggested anything I could get excited about. saw two grown men arguing about who's knowledge is better than who's. Pretty sure Lowerous & Burnsy were arguing in the last thread I popped into. Could do with some confirmations soon it's all a tad getting tedious on here.
Ok so let’s say the club do end up selling Sarr for £40-50m and have £10-15m to buy a direct replacement. (Please don’t quibble too much with the premises of the question.) Who would you want to see brought in as the Sarr replacement?
I’m not sure you can call an 3-4 post interaction an argument. You’ve been guilty of far longer in your time. So maybe hold fire on the tedious!
It was you in the Pervis thread the other too. You take things far too personally, wasn’t even an attack on you. I’m saying the forums tedious because we’re discussing whether 17 year old Norwegians play on the left or right rather than having any concrete transfers to get excited about. Not everything is a personal attack on you, slow down man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m happy with my behaviour. Don’t like it, there’s a function you can use. Not sure how someone isn’t meant to take something personally when you name checked me for no reason? Not aimed at me = don’t use my name. Pretty easy.
Not that it really matters because it's all very tiresome. When Jens Petter Hauge originally got into the first team at Glimt at 17 I believe he was played on the right side of attack or midfield. He also turned out for the U20 on the right side. Zinckernagel was bought in 2018 and played right side switching Hauge to the left. My comments were and still are that hes more than capable playing right or left side. Why I'm evening bothering with this I dont know.
Can we return to this question of who people would like to see replace Sarr for £10-15m or so should he leave (or any alternative recruitment suggestion questions) and move on from this sideshow and return to the subject matter of this thread please!? I know a lot of people have mentioned (here or elsewhere) Joe Lolley and Jed Wallace who are both proven at this level and have good quality at set pieces. Although I’d imagine the club would bring in someone younger than Lolley (27?)
Sorry no, not for my part. Posting someone’s real name is completely against the forums rules and something I’m taking seriously. The forum is and always has been a place of anonymity. Maybe you’d be happy having your name posted, that’s up to you. But I’m most certainly not.
I know I'm probably boring you all with my Serbian players suggestions, but would you take Ljubomir Fejsa from Benfica if we sell Capoue. I know he's a bit old but he's a serial winner like Ivic(won 10 league titles in a row in three different countries). He's a classic dm, similar to Nemanja Matic but his passing is a bit worse although he's faster than him. Apparently Benfica doesn't want him and are willing to sell him for cheap. He could easily play another 4 or 5 season as his stamina is great(I'm not sure if it was in the last season or the season before when he averaged the highest ground covered in Champions League).
I’d suggest Harry Wilson maybe? Could be easier to do if the Sarr deal is with Liverpool and he could be persuaded. Also well know he can take a set piece and is young enough to have a high ceiling.
Definitely not bored of your suggestions, never heard of his fella, but thanks for posting an actual transfer suggestion without feeling the need to start an argument with somebody else over something completely pointless and then hanging on to it like a dog with a bone. Please stay.
I would take £25 million + wilson. Then i would spend some of that money buying bradley dack from blackburn who is more than proven at this level
