I would have thought that might sting a bit?
I think the research suggests it’s valuable nutrition rather than a topical ointment, but whatever floats your boat.
People who chuck unwanted food on their front lawns, presumably for birds or local wildlife, that your dog delights in gobbling up and nearly choking on.
Er...why is your dog on their front lawn?
Yes Id like an answer as well. It's trespass and knowing dogs there is a good chance it will do or be thinking about emptying its dollops
What you do with your gentleman and his plumbing is your concern but I'd suggest there must be better alternatives than cooked tomatoes.
Sorry I should elaborate, you know how some houses have a strip of grass between the pavement and their actual garden? That’s the bit I mean.
On a slightly unrelated note, back in the summer some absolute idiots decided to have a picnic essentially on a path at the local beauty spot/dog walking place. This particular part is essentially a field of what must be 200+ acres or more. I mean they could’ve had their picnic 10m from the path, 20m, 50m.. but no they decided to literally sit on the path and have a picnic with everyone walking past them and plenty with dogs.
Anyway, one of my dogs ran up and raided their picnic, he tried to swallow a bit of meat on a wooden skewer completely whole, I had to get my fingers down his throat and drag it out. Some people have absolutely no common sense.
Are you related to Jason Biggs?
It’s true. Remember to let the soup cool down first though, don’t want a burn down there.
It's exactly what I would have written, especially the pineapple bit
Homes under the Hammer.
Despite the name of the program, the word 'home' is never mentioned. The word 'property' is never off their lips.
It's a close run thing who I despise most. The prospective landlords eagerly calculating their rental 'yield' after slapping some cheap magnolia paint around the 'property' and beaming with smug satisfaction at just how clever they are, the oily estate agents pronouncing woodenly how much they think they may be able to screw out of the unfortunate tenants, or the smarmy, smarmy presenters who are facilitators of the whole shittty business.
Sarah Beeney comes to mind. All these makeover programmes that care not one whit about the environment. Smash this up, break it up throw it away. Not to mention interior designers. The arrogance of some of these who think they are da Vinci crossed with the Bauhaus.
I did want to post Watford FC social media. Is it being run by Mr.Shepilov-Goebbels ?
On one Tesco delivery, we had ordered McCain Oven Chips (large bag: my wife likes chips) and a small bag of frozen Sweet Potato Fries. The substitution for the latter? A bag of (visually rancid) Tesco Value Skinny Fries. Well, they’re all ‘potato fries’ , I suppose.
The frightening bit about that is that NO pork was available. And this was before the chaos incidental to Brexit?
Not being funny, but even the faintest correlation between ‘lime pickle’ and ‘sweet tooth’ is just bizarre.
No! The additives have you truly 5crewed.
Get a smarter dog, mate.
Always thought Dion Dublin was a crap CF.
Agree with this .
I (we my wife and I) have paid off our mortgage
We are lucky .
To pay rent other than to the council is not right
You are working for your landlord and have to rent forever with nothing
to show for your efforts
He thinks he’s quite smart. He knows people sitting down = food. He pretends he hasn’t seen them, and then at the last second darts off and raids their picnic.
Unfortunately they should title it ‘Repossessions under the hammer’. I doubt if that many left the properties cheerily. Trading in misery.
I’m just staggered I used the words ‘pork’ and ‘fritter’ without eliciting so much as a murmur.
Which then risks choking him....
There you go .
Myself and @Moose on the same side !
Except ‘pork fritters’ don’t sound particularly appetising.
One of the biggest travesties of Thatcherism and all its devil’s spawn. Sell off the crown jewels of the UK’s council housing stock and aggressively legislate against councils using the proceeds to build even more sound authority-owned housing in the context of an ever-increasing population. Sacrifice the fortunes of future generations on the altar of a ( faux-competitive) ‘rental market’ that will ‘self-regulate’ itself into a situation where if you could afford most rental deposits, you could also qualify for a mortgage at a reasonable interest rate. Instead we see key workers (why should they be respected?) living in laughably-termed ‘accommodation’ miles from the hospitals etc they work in at rental rates set at an obscene percentage of their take home pay.
Oh, to be alive in such times!
I couldn't agree more .
This is easy for me to say as someone who has benefited inadvertently from this
I(we) have benefited from the property market and gentrification. It is easy for me
to say but I would go back in a heartbeat to
the days of affordable housing everywhere
Sadly the Devil’s spawn here includes New Labour. It did little to reverse this trend or to empower councils to build.
Spam fritter is where it's at.
In fact I've just ordered a deep fat fryer so thanks to this thread for giving me a coronary.
Unfortunately, in ensuring it got rid of the extremes that would never garner sufficient votes in a progressively de-industrialising country, it also threw out most of the babies with the bath water.
Starmer’s dilemma. At the moment he looks set to follow that course, but it doesn’t guarantee success.
I've not had a spam fritter since school lunches. My mouth is watering.
The blasted LTA online coach accreditation tool.
It jammed halfway through my "Developing Skills and Co-ordination" course this morning and I could not solve it.
I had Dan Thorp and "Cameron" repeat the same drill twenty seven times. It is a decent drill but not THAT good!
I have alerted the LTA and they have given me the three credits for the course.
This is kind but not really the point.
They have spent an absolute fortune on their IT and it shouldn't break down so easily. I also wanted to complete the session for my own satisfaction and professionalism.
