Palace looked properly bad against Everton.

I never rhought they would get caught up in the scrap, but they are hovering now with only a two loss cushion between them and danger.

Pickford’s international career surely over now even Benteke can score past him. The next Joe Hart.

You joke but he definitely shouldn’t be the No1.

I'm amazed they've done as well as they have this season. Had them down as potential relegation candidates pre-season. They could still get dragged into it though. It's not a great squad.

Bad results is one thing but they looked clueless today. They had one ball, trying to ping it 60 yards to Zaha and every single one flew over his head. I can definitely see them slipping into the relegation zone before the end of the season, when Hodgson’s style isn’t working there’s absolutely nothing to the way they play.

I think most of their fans are too!

    They aren't happy at all.

Man City v West Ham off - wouldn't be surprised if Sheffield United v Bournemouth was too.

They are absolutely awful. Sheffield United will win this (please)

Thankfully Sheff U did turn it around. Won 2-1.

I can't believe that we're still in with a shout. It's so strange as we seem to lose every week.

Palace lost, Brighton only a point (obviously), Bournemouth lost. Villa yet to play Spurs at home next week. West Ham will have a game in hand away at City.

Just imagine we go to United and win!!. That would change the perception of how our season is going to go as far as I'm concerned.

So Bournemouth too capable of throwing a lead a way - good to see. Despite poor result from us we have moved a point closer over the weekend.

Bournemouth have Burnley, Chelsea and Liverpool next so like us probably not going to get many points in the next few weeks..

And their run in includes Man U, Man City then Spurs, Leicester and Everton.

Cannot see them getting too much as like ours their defence is ropey.

Probably be us playing them again next season!!

Glad they lost but it still doesnt hide how we have performed as of late If it does cone down to three teams getting us out, this might be the season for it.

Would certainly be amusing if we stay up with 33 points or something.

Proper team Sheff Utd. Didn't start either half particularly well but ground out a good result. It's embarrassing watching the Bournemouth players shouting and screaming as they go to ground looking for cards. As the United players just popped straight up looking to get on with play. So hope they're one of the three to get relegated.

Sheffield 5th in the table on 39 points. Must likely be a record for a newly promoted team at this stage of the season?

Even Google can't seem to tell me the highest league position for a newly promoted team since the PL was formed in 1992.

Probably when Ipswich finished 5th and George Burley won manager of the year.

I may be remembering incorrectly but didn’t
Forest finish 3rd under Frank Clark after being promoted?

We really are a different beast when Sarr is in the side. Deulofeu was surrounded by 3 defenders in the last few games and Pereyra, well, he isn't a winger. Defenders hate two good, rapid wingers. It absolutely isn't over yet.

To see eye to eye with the players you've got to be fit enough to keep up with them first.

    Hahahahahahaha! The poor darling!

I don’t think I’ve seen a team so consistently committed to cheating and haranguing refs since Ferguson’s United or Mourinho’s first Chelsea side.

I find ‘muff fans quite amusing. In my head they’re all a bit Richard Madeley but a bit overweight and not as good looking. Probably supported the Gooners or the Spurs until Super Eddie took their now beloved Cherries to the Premiership, cruising up the leagues like a pensioner in a convertible Ford Escort along the seafront.

Plenty of pearl clutching and the uncomfortable realisation that they call Dan Gosling ‘Gozza’.

Chris Wilder did say he wasn't happy with a few things that went on so Bournemouth were probably trying it on..

The PL have dismissed Bournemouth’s complaint after listening to the audio. Apparently Gosling was whining about decisions from officials being the reasons Bournemouth are in relegation trouble and Moss replied, “I’m not the reason you are in relegation trouble - you are!’”

    Sounds perfectly fair to me.

Bournmouth nailed on to be relegated. The refs union will cut them.

And Gosling? What a massive baby.
