The Arsenal retaken penalty at Norwich: has the rule on encroachment been changed? It always used to be that if only a defender encroached and the penalty missed then it would be retaken. If only an attacker encroached and it was scored then it would be retaken. If both encroached (as today) the result of the penalty kick would stand.

Arsenal have now drawn 2-2 with us, Southampton and Norwich this season.

Now losing and Everton drawing - won't make much difference.

Although Everton have lost, that wasn’t a performance on which you sack the manager. Interesting to see what they do now.

I'm sorry but when a linesman's flag goes up you switch off, naturally. You can't allow that, despite it being against Everton. Linesman are told categorically not to put the flag up.

Richarlison would do my ******* nut in if he played for my team. I’ll begrudgingly admit that he’s reasonably talented, nothing special though and my word is he a ****. Nice to see his time wasting come back to bite him on the arse.

A bite on the arse would be an opportunity to roll around pretending to be hurt I guess.

Then they shouldn't. Playing to the whistle is still as important as ever.

Not these days. It’s all VAR gestures and diving in the playground I bet.

Just seen the worst red card for Sakho...of course the Muff player made the most of it.

Van Aanholt off with a hamstring injury as well.

Saturday might be 5-5 at this rate.

19 - Since their promotion to the Premier League in 2015-16 , Bournemouth have seen their opponents pick up 19 red cards, six more than any other side. Dismissal.

and still the clueless refs fall for their cheating. Officials have zero common sense

Saint Eddie not such a saint now it seems for the Bournemouth fans.

Palace keeping clean sheets despite having a whole defence missing....

If Bournemouth go down with us it will ease the pain a little for me.

Is Solanke actually a less effective striker than Benteke?

tbh not having to play Bournemouth next season is actually worth relegation, so I for one hope they stay up. (We are screwed)

Mourinho? Defeated? What will we do? Where will we go?

How many articles will the BBC do on him this week? And how many will refer to his title of the ‘special one’?

What kind of one is he now? Is he the defeated one? The unfortunate one? The chastened one?

I am positively quivering with excitement at the next instalment of this fascinating saga.

  21. That Saint-Maximin seems to be settling in to the league finally. Last couple of games I've watched Newcastle he's been a massive threat.

Wonder if we were ever really in for him.

Arsenal are a bunch of *****hawks. Fairies the lot of them, crying over everything the cockwombles..

Torreiria is a ******. Luiz is ****. Xhaka is ka-ka.

The only thing worse is their **** fans.

Looking forward to next season when we can be outside this thread and looking in, and not getting annoyed at shambles clubs like Arsenal who can never do us a favour.

This must be the worst Arsenal side for over 20 years, they'd do well to even finish top half let alone qualify for Europe.

Four relegation candidates and outplayed by three of them (and while playing two at home), and the other having more shots on target, picking up just three points in the process and barely deserving any of them.

Get the popcorn out, Arsenal Fan TV is going to cheer you up a little after yesterday. Well played Brighton, good side and
Potter showing how good a somewhat unknown English manager can achieve if given time and resources. Two things
    our board sadly lack.

Arsenal were woeful last night. Fair play to Brighton though, looked like a proper team. Arsenal looked like a bunch of individuals. Actually quite liked Shearer on comms.

As much as I hate to say it but he's far far better on commentary than he is sitting in the studio.

Four banker results in the Prem tomorrow.

Everton v Chelsea - Away win
Spurs v Burnley - Home win
Muff v Liverpool - Away win
City v Utd - Home win

Can get odds of 5/1 with some bookies.

Somehow we're favourites to beat Palace.

It must be the Pearson effect. Already in motion and we haven't kicked a ball under his tenure as of yet.
