What's the last match you went to?

Living on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, I used to go to two or three away matches a season, but then I fell ill and my mobility went due to Multiple Sclerosis.

The last match I went to was in 2014 when a bird I was seeing had mates in Cardiff so we stayed over and watched the match. I was sat in the front row in my wheelchair. I remember, more than anything, Tommy Hoban celebrating a goal. It was a good result.

Probably like a lot of people the Liverpool game.

Good goal by AG in that game.

    Hope you are well.

Palace away. Just before lockdown. Disgusting result and performance obviously but the atmosphere was horribly subdued because everyone seemingly knew what was on the horizon both on the pitch and off it.

Remember standing next to a bloke who kept saying that without Deulofeu we'd go down and we didn't appreciate him. Swear it was @Relegation Certs as he left well before the end.

Man U, we were the better side upto when they scored. Just the quality in front of goal let us down.

A boring 0-0 draw with Coventry in 2012 under Dyche, evening game, sat on my own in the Upper Rous for the only time ever. I asked myself why I bothered making a 100 mile round trip for this. I answered myself that I didn't know. Haven't seen a single game in the Pozzo era. For someone who went to hundreds of games since '77 I have now become a lousy fan, so detached I don't even know if I'm a COG or a bedwetter

Your last match was during the Baz era, I reckon you may be a COB instead.

My last game was the Liverpool game like many others.

Sunderland away last season they were in the Prem I think, rained all day, was cold as ****. Iggy scored in first two minutes I think.

    Wealdstone pre-season friendly.

Met Zola and Sir Lloyd of Doyley. Nothing can top that so I stopped going.

Good grief. COB would be a very small group... maybe I should go again just to get that off my CV

    FA Cup Final.

Had originally pencilled in going to the Leicester home game last season but obviously that never happened. Doubt I'll get over again until next season.

Same for me-agree about performance and made me think Pearson was not going to keep us up-we also left a little while before the end which is unusual but it was so dire

Palace away. The most Watford way possible to "build on" the Liverpool performance.

    I'm pleasantly surprised with the amount of fans we have, like myself, who only attend the odd game. I'm sure most of those that do, would be season ticket holders if they lived near Watford. I would certainly be a season ticket holder if I lived within 50 miles of the Vic, but alas, I am stuck to watching LOW Bangor or Caernarfon, or Anglesey league matches, which is 2 tiers below the LOW. Anglesey league matches are fun as a social thing. I know players and managers of varying degrees of talent. One of my best mates, at 35, is Manager at CPD Pentraeth. CPD stands for Clwb Pêl Droed, which is Welsh for Football Club;

Everton at home, went to get a beer as it hit 45 minutes at 2-0, by the time I had my first sip it was 2 ******* all.

I was due to be at the leicester home game, the first of our postponed games... so my answer is the Pusetto defensive masterclass game v Spurs.

I have to say that was a lovely ball you laid off for Nat to score the 3rd goal. Premier League quality was that.

Yes, the Palace away game for me too. So disappointing after the high the previous week.
It’s also the last occasion I went in a pub.

Everton match at home. Despite my hopes to the contrary (and generally kidding myself), as soon as I saw that 3rd goal go in, I knew we were finished.

Also, I booed at the end. Had never done that before! Good to experience new things at the age of 29....

I think it was QPR Watford in the cup last year. Was a grim match and it took so long to get a pint, that I left my seat at 40 minutes, got two pints and missed about 15 minutes of the second half. Not sure I missed much though.

I think it was the 1-0 away defeat to Sunderland in Dec 2017 under Mazzarri. I was so hydrated I dropped my tickets on the train and only noticed at the turnstile! Went to their ticket office on the off-chance and someone had actually handed them in! I owe that stranger a pint!

Bit sh1te that it's been 3 years since my last trip but that's due to a change of career and subsequent no earnings during a rather long training program!

im finding the various stories rather fascinating. I always thought I was a plastic fan not going to many matches, but it seems I'm not alone in my lack of real life matches.

Love North Wales. My auntie used to own a farm on Bardsea Island and spent many a half term helping out up there. Seemed to spend a lot of time back on the mainland at Ty Coch pub in Morfa Nefyn!
    Palace was my last game
