But the women's game was not affected. It went ahead as planned. Only the BBC decided not to show it.

I actually do think that the games scheduled for Saturday at 3pm should be moved now. But the BBC coverage, including suspending BBC 4 and the women's football coverage, was OTT and a completely separate matter.

I’m saying I’m certain we will draw or win unless one or both of the above happens.

Funnily enough, I’m just as if not more confident of us beating Luton as I was of us beating Wycombe at home, which wasn’t very (as there were still question marks over Munoz, and Wycombe had been on a good run for them).

Glad you agree. I'm sure we would have been just as annoyed as the fans of women's football if Sky/Hive live had decided not to broadcast our game on Friday even though it was still being played.

Moving games, as you now accept, is a completely separate matter.

Ok if we play well we will win but we might not play well or Luton may be lucky. So we might win draw or lose.

Mark my words "The Scum" will be well up for the game on Saturday they will want to **** up our promotion push probably more than anything else.

In the words of Kevin Keegan "They will love it if they can beat us, LOVE IT"

Right now Luton have the keys to the promised land and we need to take them off em. Every one of their players will b giving 200%, if we dont match and out do them on effort, fight, power, desire, hunger and commitment they could sabotage our promotion push. Nothing would give those evolution dodging knuckle draggers more pleasure. As Winston Churchill famously said 'we must fight dem b1tches'.

The Daily Mail reckons a large majority of Championship clubs prefer Friday night as the slot to move the Saturday fixtures into.

That would make sense as the only midweek games are tomorrow.

I’m a bit surprised that they wouldn’t prefer just moving games a couple of hours later to early Saturday evening, but there you go.

The article doesn't say why but I suppose they think moving forward the best part of 20 hours is more beneficial ahead of a further round of midweek games. They'd basically gain the Saturday as a rest/recuperation day.

I forgot about Rotherham v Coventry. May be a Saturday lunchtime kickoff would be better.

They won't be an issue either as their respective next matches were on Sunday anyway. It's just the Saturday 3pm fixtures that need to be moved, either Friday night, Saturday 12pm or 5pm KOs.

From our perspective Friday night would be better as it give us an extra day recovery before we play Norwich.

Hearing that Rotherham have already got re-arranged fixtures scheduled for 12pm and 5pm kickoffs on the Saturday, so finding a spot to move their 3pm game will be tough.

Not that we should be overly worried by what Swansea do, but them and the teams that play midweek would probably rather the games be moved to some time on the Saturday or maybe Sunday

Wonder with the pubs re-opening whether they might give us a really **** kick off time like midday Saturday rather than Friday evening?

Saturday either 12/12.30pm or 4.30/5pm sounds about right to me.

I can't see that that would be a factor given fans can't attend matches.

And all of the pubs were booked up for outside table service weeks ago (in St Albans at least - although this seems to be a countrywide trend).

Norwich run in is just as bad/worse than ours, Muff, Reading, Barnsley, QPR and us.

Similar points between us and them as there is with Brentford and Swansea who are causing concern.

Could still be on. Just sayin'.

I agree with this. I wouldn't bet against Norwich dropping points between now and the end of the season, however, I suspect we'd probably have to win all our games to beat them to the title. Say Norwich lose to Bournemouth and us, their ceiling would fall to 99 points. Our max is 97, so they would need to lose one more or draw a couple for us to overhaul them.

To simplify, we win the next game, they lose to Bournemouth (both very plausible). We win at Carrow Road, then we'll be 2 points behind on level games with 3 to play. Their last three are QPR (a), Reading (h) & Barnsley (a). I could see them losing one of those games, but probably not two. It looks like we'll have to win all 5 of our games to overtake them. I'm not sure we're good enough to do that, but we certainly could run them close.

The players' mentality should deffinitely be one of trying to chase Norwich down, no matter how unlikely.
