I liked the look of that centre back, Zimmerman, playing for Norwich last night. 25 years old and seemingly wasn't even professional until age 21. Cost them nothing to sign (presumably their German manager and management team had spotted something in him). He's only played 11 times for them since signing in June 17. Really liked the look of him and he'd go great in a partnership with Kabs at the back I reckon. Little offer of £5 mill or so to tempt him away?
Cannot see him leaving Bayern to join us but I'd be massively in favour of this. Although City are still playing Delph at LB and Guardiola signed him for Bayern so not too much of a stretch to see them being in for him.
This must be the quietest window since the Pozzos came on board. Maybe there are intriguing negotiations going on behind the scenes.
I have no doubt that there will be signings, probably at least three. It’s in the Pozzos DNA, it’s what they own the club for every bit as much as playing footie games. A striker, a midfielder, a defender (prob a versatile one) and one for the future. There could even be a home grown surprise.

And flop again..... I want Mr.Scott to be getting talented hungry players from down the pyramid. They are there. Rough gems that other clubs always seem to find but we never do. Dom's suggestion is a very good one.
Only signed for them in the Summer but Hirving Lozano could be one to look at from PSV. 22 year old Mexican (another nationality to tick off) winger with 11 goals in 16 games this season. He already has 24 caps for his national side and scored a brace in a 3-3 draw against Belgium last November.
We had Layun, he was Mexican.... Lozano is a great player but PSV are top of the Dutch league and have just sold Locadia to Brighton as they were in debt. Doubt he’d be available now. Plus, there were big rumours at the time that Lozano is more or less a Man City player and is just at PSV to develop.
But buying somebody who isn’t very good? We know what we need but there is no point just signing anybody
I am hoping Mr Gracia has been lined up for this job for a week or so and has already had a good look at the squad and at some footage! If he is defensively minded as reported he will know where he needs to strengthen this squad.
