Funnily enough, none of the thousands of gods have shown up and we only know about them from a human claiming to have a hotline to them.

 

Also funnily enough, my daughter's pet gerbil has achieved as much in its life as you have in yours...assuming you have managed to reproduce that is.

The more I think of the time and space continuum and the possibility of many dimensions more than 4, and how far away everything in the night sky is, and black holes and gravitational waves and compressing or expanding time and stuff, the more it does my head in.

So I go back to worrying whether Watford in the PL is merely an existential figment of my imagination that will all go up in puff of smoke when we come across the Klopp Particle on Saturday - or something

No clue what you mean by that, which is exactly the same as my lack of understanding of my daughter's gerbil's irrelevant noise.

 

You seemed to be hinting that your life was full of meaning in comparison to mine, possibly as you have your choice of deity in it.

A final comment on Prof Hawking and his studies on time and how it can be slowed down and speeded up, compressed or expanded etc - a very profound observation that should make us all sit back and think about the meaning of life - as given to me by a wise old scientist:

“Life is like a toilet roll, the closer to the end the faster it goes”
