Not sure if anyone has seen this advertised. Basically the WFC CSE Trust is organising a stair challenge climb at the Vic next Saturday and it's to raise money for their mens weight loss programme called Shape Up. They asked me for help as I'm heavily involved with Watford Harriers and they wanted some advice on how to time it etc. To date they have had very little interest and I think it would be a real shame if it goes ahead with so few entries. They're only looking for 200 people to take part and currently there's only about 25! If anyone is interested or knows of anyone who might please do consider! Open to anyone over 18, regardless of physique, ability or age. It's £15 to enter and you have to pledge to raise £40 which is the only snag but it will help a good cause. More info and entry can be found on the following link: https://www.activetrainingworld.co.uk/events/2018/07/28/step_up_for_shape_up
What's the realistic fitness level required? It's hard to work out the relative distance, bearing in mind the climbing required too.
How long is it likely to take as I've no concept. I have to be back home by 11am to look after kids whilst Mrs Moog get her hair done
