Which Corrie are you talking about?

    Haim or Feldman?

It's the Czech Pilsner Urquell for me tonight.
I am fresh out of English beer (OSH is a bloody $8.50 for a 4 pack at the Bevmo! Extortion!), but I am still sitting on the remnants of Harp and Guinness from Xmas. It's 2pm now but I may sneak one around 4pm to get a head start on happy hour.

Screw "the man"! (I hope he's not reading this...)

4 pound 25 is extortion for a 4 pack in 'merica. shizzle. you guys have it good. also, we are like 8 hours 6 mins ahead of you! mental

I feel $1/beer is reasonable to drink at home. Any more is worth dressing up as indians and dumping tea into the harbor over. Sorry harbour.

I really think a Bevmo would blow your minds, lads. It still blows my mind and I go there every week.

Can I jst say here that there is no emoticon or smilie in the world that can describe my enjoyment of luke and fan's dialogue in the other thread, and not wanting to spoil the mood there I thought I'd add that here.

And to keep to the mood. I have not had any booze this 2008. That's £0.00 per day on drink ($0.00)

It's what we carved our country out of your empire for: to CONSUME CONSUME CONSUME

It's what we do best with number 2 being perfecting ways of multiplying the number of people one person can kill without actually being killed.

First and only country to drop an A-bomb with a frowny face on...YESSS

FYI, I read a report that said there is a seventy percent chance that there will be a nuclear terror attack in the US within 10 years, and fifty percent within five years. I live in LA and that sure would be a sweet target.

I'm ****ed. Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow there is a 50% chance I die in a horrible radioactive fireball!

    Am I on a tangent?

the first was for YAP. this is for Fitzy, the cynical politics of fear can only be overcome by the workers overthrowing their shackles and drinking stella to the point where everyone is naked and singing and making peace

A nice pint of Brakspear English Pale Ale for me tonight. half price - 94p for a 0.88 of a pint bottle. very easy to drink and reccomended to those you have not developed the good taste to switch from LAAAAAGARRR to real ale.

    PS Stella is just wrong.

Come on guys, even I know what CAMRA is.

I also live close to the second oldest school building in Britain, the cathedral of the first British martyr, Steven Hawking's secondary school, the birthplace of Samuel Ryder (creator the the Ryder Cup - the bi-annual UK>US comp), Francis Bacon's local parish (the inventor of many things including the idea of freezing food to preserve it) and the secondary school of Paul Cattermole, one seventh of S Club 7!

    St Albans rocks hard ass!

Cool! The only thing my hometown produced was an infamous Road Rage Shooter.

I think he was doing Meth a lot around the time he shot her. It doesn't mention our town but we both came from tiny El Dorado Hills up north.

I think you will all find that Gallows, one of 2007s biggest breakthrough or is it breakthru, bands come from watford, which leads me to...

Enter Shikari - brillaint band, I went to school with three quarters of them! And saw them sing 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' at a karaoke event.

Friendly Fire - bloody amazing band, hotly tipped for 08, despite having a pretty awesome 07.

Both of these come from STA

Set in a Spanish resort and based around the lives of British expats, the BBC hoped it would be as successful as EastEnders and replicate some of the sunshine and glamour of imported Australian soaps such as Home And Away and Neighbours. It was made as a co-production between the BBC and independent production company Cinema Verity, and aired three times a week in a high-profile evening slot on the mainstream channel BBC1, filling the BBC1 slot vacated by Terry Wogan's chat show Wogan, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.00pm.
In spite of a high-profile advertising campaign on television, radio and in the press preceding the launch ('Are you ready for Eldorado?', read by actor Campbell Morrison), the programme was not a popular hit with viewers and critics.
