Stadium Expansion - Bushey Hall

Need to bin off our stadium on Vic Road now and relocate, ideally as close to the town center as possible but a purpose built 30k ground with firs class facilities is what is needed.

With a decent location and accessibility a modern stadium could hold music events, boxing, rugby etc etc. Bring in more revenue.

Get it done please.

 

There will be an app that will show the screen content. Unfortunately due to poor 4G connectivity in the stadium it will be more effective outside of the stands.

Saw this photo on Twitter of the latest NW corner redevelopment. Looks like the original plans are out of date now that the roof mounted video screen has replaced the need for corner screens. That looks like very steeply raked seating going in front of where the screen was due to be.

Because they are already planning to put 1,000 flats on top of Intu - which with all the other flats increases the potential customer base to justify a bigger stadium.

That screen is the final piece in the il duce Pozzo family plan to take over South West Herts.
Theyve already programmed you into believing they can do no wrong.. and have sent out agents to brainwash you further into believing the whole word is against "us" (some of those agents operate here btw)
The last act is when the screen is turned on at the first game and a huge close up of Gino's face is projected Big Brother style!

The new corners should look pretty decent when completed. Does anyone have any new photo's? To me it looks like the North West corner will not be having a TV studio anymore but stepped corner seating has replaced this in an updated design. The original design had a four row upper balcony, is this still the case but with extra seat rows below?

It will also be interesting to see how many seats the club can fit into the South East corner, there will still be a need for emergency access to the pitch but plenty of room to fill in above that. Also, has the stadium control room been removed / relocated from that corner? There is always the issue of the column supporting the Rookery roof, that might impact on sight lines unless something really clever has been done by the Architect / Engineers.

Unless I've missed it, they've not applied for planning permission to build anything new in the South East corner yet. I presume it would be needed?

 

I keep checking the Watford planning portal but nothing sine December 2018... sometimes they will make retrospective applications, maybe for this as nothing showing...

You can see the GT stand is being extended forward on the upper tier by about 6 rows.
