Squad

The squad for the rest of the season has been submitted.

We are three players down from the first part of the season with Zeegelaar, Okaka and Wilmot not available.

I can imagine it possible we might miss Wilmot at some time.

 

Although there's no chance of him coming back, Wilmot is U21 so would be eligible to play.

 

Strange observation to make.

 

Sorry, misunderstood your post. Thought you were suggesting Wilmot had been in the last squad and now wasn't. Evidently you were just explaining players not currently at the club aren't available for selection. Apologies.

 

I was just pointing out we are 3 players down from the first part of the season......nothing more than that. Instead of having 29 to choose from, we have 26.

 

Imagine we've left two spaces to take advantage of the loan window when it opens

 

Troy could do a shift at CB.

Otherwise, one of Pereyra or Hughes.

 

One spot in case Doucs knee doesn't clear up and we need to end Hoggs loan early and bring him back, similar for Battocchio as he doesn't qualify as U21 anymore.

Makes sense.

 

Presumably the spaces are for Alcacer and that Brazilian attacking midfielder we signed in the summer but had to wait until now to give a squad number to.

I presume we're just waiting on work permits.
