A West Ham supporting pal is coming to the Watford vs Wolves match on Saturday. We will be going for food / drink before the game, but he wants to see his team too. Can anyone recommend any pubs / restaurants local to Vicarage Road that will be showing the Spurs vs West Ham match (live on Sky, kick off @ 12:30pm) ?
I usually go to Molloys if i want to watch the early kick off. Doesnt get too busy and screens in the right places.
One of my mates said malloys is no more. I've not been past it since they said but I saw a pic a few weeks ago and it was boarded up.
Appears to be a Slug and Lettuce now if we are talking about the same place! Irish bar will be packed unless you get there very early. Red Lion the same I guess. Shame its not on BT as the Moon Under Water have that.
Slug and lettuce - that's it! And some kind of retro 80's bar next door. Other pubs showing the game: Lloyds Estcourt arms Estcourt tavern Wellington Golden lion Flag/oneills I think does sky and bt again now.
