I was very interested on what the Spanish football media and general fans consensus is on the loaned in players for Granada? Obviously wasn't received very well over here just wondered what the feeling towards it was over in sunny Spain.
Well since a lot of teams do the same (as far as loans go) then I never really noticed anyone complaining. Our model is not the same as Pozzos, we just have no money so get loan players in. Mostly from Jorge Mendes (Cristiano and Mourinhos agent) My team had 9 loan players this season 3 from Sportin Lisbon 2 from At, Madrid 1 from Benfica 1 from Villarreal 1 from hercules 1 from Videoton. We had 2 others and sent then back at Christmas. Crap way of doing it as this are just pure loans. I haven'y read anyone complaing though!
Not only Spain but most of the world leagues are quite happy with international loan rules. The only people who complain are the English, whine whine whine... its not fair... I'm telling... what a truly pathetic nation we have become.
Because Spain are good at football. Therefore they don't have to blame everything else for being so bad.
We just like our big clubs to spend millions on overseas players instead or pay over the odds for English ones before hardly playing them....
In Spain we are ok with the loan system, even more in Granada where, in our first years, almost all our players went from Udine on loan (and they have been signing for Granada since then). So, as feliuk says, here's no one say bad things about loan system. Granada had this year just 3 loans from Udinese, 1 from Rennes and 1 from Benfica. But we have players all over the world (more or less 30 players in different teams, including Watford). Why does english people complain about loans?
Because they think everyone in the world should measure beer in pints, height in feet, weight in pounds, should drive on the left and use the FL loan rules, instead of liters, centimeters, kilograms, drive on right side and use FIFA rules! :naughty:
