Make no mistake this will be a tricky game, they are one of those battling hard working teams. Their manager also hanging on to his job by a thread. Draw would be respectable, seeing as we can't score. When is our Harlem Globetrotters continental wonder team going to show up again? Is Troy the redeemer tomorrow? Will Del boy put in a Barcelona A performance & make up for last week? Can Success prove to be the second coming of Ighalo? These are big questions.
Exactly this. You took the thoughts out of my head which is a bit scary. But trying to be positive, a bounce back from the Tyneside horror show and the miserable, wet, cold, turgid performance there in the FA cup last season. 2-2 Gray to outshine Ings
Big game this one. Either we fritter away chances and confidence going into a tough run or we set ourselves up full of beans for a bash against man city and liverpool. Get 6 points from the next 4 and we're set for top half. 0 points and we're look behind us depressed.
Merson has us down to win, so we’ve already lost before a ball has even been kicked. Should win this one but we are Watford, the gift that keeps giving. Southampton with one home win in a year, it’s so predictable a blind man can see it, we will lose. They are terrible and like others I have seen a few of their games this season. We need to score first and early if we are going to get anything out of this. One goal against Newcastle and their heads would have dropped and we would have easily won. We didn’t and we blew it. We can not do that again here. Result should be nothing but a Watford win; Southampton 0-4 Watford What will probably happen Southampton 1-0 Watford
It's about time we put someone to the sword. Why not the Saints? The frustrations of last week might work to our advantage. Hoping Chalobah can play at least a B+ game and the ill-disciplined Holly drops out for Masina who did well before last week.
My prediction is we will see the Gracia Out thread go from people congratulating the club on giving him a new contract, to some of the same people criticising the decision and bemoaning his subs. Probably myself included...
Thanks. Put them to the sword. This will be a repeat of last week. We aren't putting anyone to the sword in this division any time soon.
I’m not a reactive fan, but if we win I’ll be calling for Javi to be knighted. If we lose, he can **** right off. Nobody loses to Newcastle and Southampton without doing it deliberately.
I think his head has been turned by speculation about the Fulham job coming up in the near future. I expect he has already agreed T&Cs. Do we know his whereabouts over the last 2 weeks on an hour by hour basis ? Any unaccounted for hours ? Exactly, I thought as much !
How has he arrived at this score line. Southampton barely score any goals and have won once at home in a year and we’ve looked very good in all games, Bournemouth aside.
Well he has gone for Newcastle and Cardiff to win on the basis that they are playing teams not so good as the top 4 sides... And got Wolves losing at Arsenal but saying they will be fine despite losing 4 in a row.
My first away game in a while so I fully expect us to lose miserably and for a wayward Deeney shot to smack me square in the face with a wet ball.
https://mobro.co/paulturner1?mc=1 No harm in asking seeing as taches are close to my heart on here. Oh and it adds a face and a real name to my presence on here too!
Cheers to those that have donated already! If we win I'll try again later. If we lose I'll leave it til the squabbling dies down.
Bad news folks....it’s raining here in Southampton. Lump on the saints as our lads won’t fancy it today.
3 defenders, a keeper and 3 forwards should be enough to cover chalobah returning from injury in the middle...
Wilmot can play holding mid (in act he seems to be seen as a holding mid more than a defender at the moment) and Hughes could also switch position to the centre if required.
